  • PK and Red Card for denying obvious goal scoring opportunity with a foul punishable by a DFK

  • Penalty and red card

  • thats a foul he clearly shoved him from behind

  • @cbruscato84 Americans do not like soccers because they suck at it. Otherwise they would love soccer.

  • @schemerzot Sorry that you're asshurt about getting beat by Spain while playing the dirtiest game of the world cup.

  • ughhh.... this is why americans dont like soccer. so soft

  • he is not the last defender though. PK and yellow card

  • REd card for DOGSO. Penatly kick. Foul occured inches outside the box and was finished inside the pk area, PK. New directive.

  • Red card, no doubt. "Denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity." I'm a 15-year-old referee, it shouldn't be that difficult to memorize such a simple phrase!

  • yep, ball placed where the foul happened... not where it ended up... Red Card for two reasons... DOGSO and VC. DFK out of the box.

  • For those who wonders: The push is on the outside. Red card and a free kick. See the slow motion at the end ;)

  • zhe100

Where in the rule book says that in this situation the foul is where he ends up and not where it was made?

I can't tell if the push is inside or outside the box. If outside, no penalty. Even if he fell on the box.

    Red card no matter what.

  • DFK on the edge, red for DOGSO.

  • RED CARD NO DISCUSSION!!! AND possible penalty..not sure if the foul was outside or inside the box..but i would have given a pk

  • The push ended up in the Penalty box, so it was awarded as a penalty kick. It's not where the fouling started (because the referee can call advantage since the player was still moving forward), but where the foul ended in this kind of situation.

  • ok, good, advantage... but the player fell a few steps after the push in the box... i see you point.. but your wrong. If a ref decides to call advantage then call it back because the advantage is lost the ball is placed where the foul was... which was out side of the box.

  • Look closely World trade, that is a shove from behind. RED CARD!

  • He probably exaggerated the fall but the push was definitely there.

  • At first glance I thought the attacker went down too easily, but looking more carefully the defender plants a carefully timed shove in the center of the back. Red Card.

  • yellow. the guy exaggerated!

  • yellow? lol

dude if u were a ref and u gave a yellow for that, you wouldnt walk out of the stadium alive

its either a red or nothing

its either u saw the shove then its a red card, cause clearly that was almost a goal

or you did not see the shove and u thought the forward was faking it then you would call play on

  • your right, i re-watched it. red card

  • Regardless, he was challenged from behind with no intention of playing the ball. On top of all that, obviously goal scoring chance.

  • Foul? Trip (ouside PA) and push into PA, check

    Distance to ball, check

    Distance to goal, check

    Direction to goal, check

Defenders >2 (incl GK), no check

No DOGSO, Caution, DFK (no PK)

Attacker was tired and would probably have blown it, but no excuse for trip from behind as he slowed to set up his shot.

  • I don't think so pal!! That is the biggest dive I have seen in my 10 years as a soccer offical

  • yeah right

  • RED CARD!

  • i dont get it?

  • what is this for

  • This was a perfect goal scoring opportunity.

  • give him a free kick

  • I kinda looks like a dive. but the guy did get his arm up and looks like he extends the arm
