another comment to say great explanation :) i'm sitting in bed and even without the poi i know how it works now. i'm another one for only being able to do hyperloops (albeit only half the time, still learning).
what cone poi are you using? they look similar to the ones off HoP.
@mrkdetailing They were made by a friends company called hyperloop.co.uk but I don't think they exist anymore. Well, the person exists, but they're not making poi ;)
I haven't used the HoP ones but any non-stretch material which gives you a lot more control (more so than just socks).
I never understood the movement of how to get the poi apart again but now, after your explanation I got it! I was working on airwraps for quite a long time but with your tutorial it took me only few minutes. thxthxthx!
i started doing air wraps in preperation to learn hyperloops,, now i can only do hyper loops and cant get the air wraps figured out! very frustrating. haha!
Thanks heaps!! I've been trying for a couple of days now with both on wall plane, and getting real frustrated. Having 1 at 45 degrees or even both has helped me heaps. Thank you. Keep it up!!
Can airwraps be done with a poi made of strings, no socks? I´cant make the movement, so I have figured that it could be me or my poi. Should I make a socks poi?

you explained this REALLY nicely, im going to jump on this asap, but i feel like it wouldnt work well with swivels, we shall see!
YouVuvu 5 months ago
@YouVuvu Should work fine with swivels, though you might find they spin a bit faster due the lack of friction (and thus torque).

You can do them with any kind of poi - but socks are easiest
DurbsBT 3 years ago
Yes, actually I´ve been able to do it well a few times. I have to keep practicing. ty for the ack.

hey first thanks for the vids...and now: can i do this with chain pois???....and whats the difference between airwraps and hyperloops??
libertine505 3 years ago
Uberloops are possible with chain so airwraps should be possible as well. But make sure you have good swivels.
And the difference is that airwraps (like he said in the beginning of the clip) only happen on one side and hyperloops change side.
