I loved the Trantula kit! I got one when I was a kid at a flea market and had fun building that kit. I thought it was the coolest looking thing I ever built. The guy I bought it off of had it and never built it. I picked that up along with a bunch of other old kits he had. I miss that Trantula.

The T'rantula is a hard to find kit. I believe that Revell is re-releasing it in the fall. Very nice VID and builds.

2 great modz from a bygone era. nobody in my family got a chance to smash my stuff when i was younger. fire crackers were an in thing back then,,regular crackers and the mini's,,i used them to see what would happen to mod cars and alot of other things,LOL,,my sisters were never safe around me when i had fire crackers,,ahhhh,,good ole days

Thanks, I wonder how many of us older model builders actually had both of these models. I guess if you like one, you'd like the other maybe. They were all very cool. I also found a NOS Baja Bandito to build on eBay, which is another one a family member smashed when I was a kid. It was expensive (like $28.) but was well worth it. Building all of these were great (both times). :)

great finds and great work bringing your Trantula back to it's former glory. i too built both of those kits back in the day , looking to get back into it. BIG difference in prices nowadays from when we were kids lol.
