I'd love to know how to do this, I have a uni project coming up which I want to rotoscope a performance of metallica from a video! Any tips? Im aware of adobe flash, photoshop and illustrator but no idea how to do this technique! cheers

@ncdc123 About a week or two I think. The hand drawn pencil shot took the longest, I took it with me basically everywhere until it was done.
