I love how they finally gave mordred's side of the king Arthur legends ,how he was always raised to hate Arthur and was never given a chance to be anything else but a weapon to destroy his father and his kingdom. This gives a non-demonic point of view of the man who has always been demonized for hundreds of years. After hearing this you can't help but sympathize with him, with the position he was born into.

@Beastealityforthewin Completely agree. No disrespect to the original sources, of course, but I love when classical villains, the dark shades in the story's black-and-white world, are seen in color. Villains never see themselves as villains--they always see their actions as the right things, or, in a rare case like Mordred's, they feel their roles to be wrong and may feel remorse but also feel that they have no other choice but to do what they're destined to do. <3 Mordred, great character.

@Beastealityforthewin Mordred's tale is probably even sadder when you consider Arthur was pretty much Merlin's pawn as Mordred was Morgan's pawn. Arthur and Mordred even managed to devise a peaceful solution to the war, but as they were making the treaty a snake slithered up, one of Arthur's knights drew his sword to protect the two kings, but it was mistaken for a hostile act and so the war restarted.

Also the moment when Mordred died, he was in a sort of embrace with Arthur.
