  • Ouch!!!!

  • Numb nuts. How can you keep trying to start it? Tell you what, get someone to sit in there and fire it up whilst you sit on top of that poor engine. Ask them to rev the tits off it, then post a video of the piston and con rod flying up your asshole...

  • He swears a lot in this video

  • This is not how you take care of a car

  • please, dont stop these videos, i love the attemps to start and tour videos.

  • 0:21 Swears?

  • Why is there a tampon hanging from the rear view mirror? :/

  • Piston are already broke from inside spark swimming on coolant and oil u just make it worse if the mechanic is around he would choke ur ass right away cause u gonna creat more damage on the engine duece bag

  • @spencer82rocks The engine is already shot. I don't imagine anyone would spend to do a rebuild on an engine with 160,000 miles on it when it would be cheaper to buy a not blown engine from a scrap yard with half the miles on it.

  • How the hell do you blow up a inline 6 u must be a fucking idiot to do that

  • just push it damn!

  • sounds like a train

  • @1979lincolncoupe CHOO CHOO!! lol

  • Tow it to the Dodge dealership and say, "I was driving and it just died!"

  • just floor it and end the engines misery.

  • no shit it wont run it fucken blown

  • whats wrong with the engine?

    It runs pretty smooth

  • Hey kyle try to kill the jeep and also say to the jeep I will take your balls out

  • You stupid fucking fuck. That poor motor is done. Leave it the fuck alone and push it.

  • Yeah oil pressure around 80 psi means span or worn out rod or main bearings (probably both) becuase the metal gets ethier moved infront of or ground into the oil passage ways and blocks off oil flow, thats way once and engine spins a bearing or grinds down a bearing to where the metal melts over the oil hole, not matter how much oil is added to the motor it will still grind up that bad bearing and ultimately throw a rod out the block or lock up...

  • 0:22 shits

  • That's a crapy v8 engine

  • @codedily This is... an... inline 6... He even said it...

  • thats more damage your going for

  • you have to be a fucking idiot to destroy a 4.0

  • @butch93105 No, you have to be a complete idiot to blow any motor.

  • It's a fucking shame.

  • ouch

  • so was there something wrong with it. :P

  • Why?

  • I HAVE AN 03 OVERLAND, SHE HAD A PROBLEM IN THAT THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT WOULD NOT GO OUT WHEN ENGINE STARTED. IT WAS LOCKED IN 2nd GEAR UNTIL I HAD DONE AROUND 10 MILES, THEN IT WOULD BE OK AND ALL GEARS COULD BE USED. THE PROBLEM VANISHED WHEN I SPRAYED THE FUSES WITH

AERO-KLEEN, ITS A CIRCUIT DEGREASER THAT TV REPAIR MEN USE. I HAD A QUOTE FOR £1.600 TO FIX IT FROM THE REPAIR GARAGE. NICE SAVING HUH !!! TO THIS DAY THE PROBLEM HAS NOT RETURNED. HOPE IT HELPS SOMEONE ELSE.

  • @justamick1 stop yelling please you dont have to use caps

  • @naterade21 ******SO SORRY IT ANNOYS YOU, AT THE MOMENT I HAVE NO OPTION AS MY CAPS LOCK HAS A PROBLEM. THE WHOLE OUTFIT NEED`S REPLACING, BUT NOT JUST YET,............... MERRY CHRISTMAS.

  • @justamick1 you can also hold down the shift button and that will get you lowercase

  • lmaooooooooooooooooooooo DAM SON YOU KILLED THE JEEP,LMAOOOO THAT SHIT COUGHING LIKE A MUFUCKA,LMAO IT WAS TRYIN TO BREATH AND JUST COULDNT LMAOOOOO YOU KILLED THE JEEP SON CTFUUUUU

  • It died

  • Thing sounds like a damn tractor!

  • dirty car.

  • its getting a seeger ha

  • poor jeepD:

  • this guy is giving pot a bad name..

  • "Needles are dancing. . . ha that's kinda funny" lol

  • that is shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you should tow it with those expeditions you have there

  • Man it purrs like a kitten

  • if a persons car is that messy i wonder what their house looks like

  • WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS TO THEIR CARS???

  • In the end he says: "I hate you. So much". LMFAO!!

  • Haha the ad on the video is an ad for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

    LOL

  • jesus christ It, sounds so bad

  • 2 years later this car is back

  • At 2:28 did anyone see the tachometer and speedometer both go up?

  • @BassMann777 When you first start it all the guages go up, alot of newer cars do that

  • is that car nice just asking?

  • Sounds like a train driving by! The sound that the starter is making *hints to VERY low compression* I'm shocked it even started!

  • GRAND CHEROKEE WIN

  • i have a 93 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4.0 with 325k miles on it (all stock), im racing new mustangs that cant keep up

  • mine also was a repo and only had 137000 miles. sounded better and I was able to drive it onto the dolly. It was also a V8. The pistons in the V8s at least are crappy and fail a lot and the V6 may have the same.

  • I bought an 02 durango with a blown engine :p. Awesome car. Rebuilt it and ran great since

  • "I hate you... So much" lol xD

  • LOL "Alright, battery back in, take.... Oh whatever"

  • "I hate you... So much" LMAO

  • wooooow listen to it perrr lol

  • have the same jeep, going strong since 2000 !

  • When the key is gnawed up, that's a sign that something was wrong with the previous owner.

  • @jaydavee I doubt that's the case for this Jeep- have you SEEN the interior?

  • Mopar or no car

  • only in a jeep

  • i laughed pretty hard at "maximum oil pressure, the only way to do it" hahaha

  • Poor JEEP no car what every country its from deserves this. AND TO ALL WHO SAYS JAP CARS WOULDN'T DO THIS AND KOREAN CARS WOULDN'T,ETC ANY CAR WITH LOW MAINTENANCE CAN DO THIS.

  • shud hav been left 2 warm up on idle it will usually run but 1ce turned off it will be like trying to start a half seized v8 wiv no gas :)

  • Ouch! They musta really hammered that 4 liter. It's a tough engine.

  • Typical POS american pile of junk

  • @jarus187 Better than a Toyota.

  • @jarus187 it still runs unlike your jap shitbox

  • If your a true car enthusiast, you would be saddened to hear the words " she dosent have much life left" no matter what it is.

  • what happened to this vehicle eventually?

  • Why would u rev a blown engine so much? your just making it worse. it was fine at the first start. u just needed to add some gas.....

  • Comment removed

  • sounds wonderful.....

  • she was screaming why do you keep trying to revive me...just let me die peacefully already. then the starter kept on saying FML, FML, FML.

  • the PCV valce for the engine head is broken, i remember when mine was broke, it sounded like that and sucked up fuel REALLY quick. lol

  • this car is good engine

  • i love throwing rods

  • poor starter

  • The only reason it has oil pressure is the oil holes in the crankshaft are covered up from left over bearing material. Don't bother rebuilding that engine; buy one that isn't ruined...

  • piston rod knock ??? lmfao

  • That poor jeep :(. That thing has been thrashed by whoever owned it. Jeeps are ment to be taken care of, and offroaded. This one does not have 4 wheel drive, but still, it deserves to be taken care of. As I Jeep Grand Cherokee owner this annoys me

  • Plugged oil galley, No oil to rod bearings or cam... flattened lobes, and blown out rod bearings!

  • Sounds like a tractor

  • I'm guessing a blond teenage girl owned that car. That's why it looks and runs like shit.

  • is that thing still there in the lot

  • AMERICAN MADE SHIT!

  • @monkeynuts76 What happens when you don't take care of your engine jackass.

  • sounds good what are you talking about?

  • Check Engine light is on...should be fine though

  • someone fucked that thing up. that 4.0L is a god damn good engine

  • haha wow that sounds healthy

  • It pays to look after your car and do prventative maintenance......All it needs though, is a reconditioned motor and she'd be right again!

  • I always thought that sound was normal for a jeep. What are you taling about?

  • oh yeah listen to her purr

  • engine wants to sleep

  • rod nock

  • Sounds like a chrysler to me

  • @audimanone I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee with the 4L inline and I have over 300k miles still going strong. Just normal service and it will go for along time. The inline was bullet proof, this one I can't say. They are usually great engines

  • I would just push it after the 3rd try

  • hey tell me somthing, when you detail your cars, how do you clean the gunk outa the carpets???

  • that sucker is dead

  • i wish people would just take care of their cars

  • sounds like my 81 Cutlass did when the 307 V8 made the decision to become a V7 and exit a rod through the oil pan, it still ran but not very good. just held it to the floor and made the V7 into a V6, then lost all compression from lack of oil.

  • knock knock, whos there? oh thats just my jeep ;)

  • I had a lime green station wagon, dnt rem the year of it but i forgot to put water in it and on my way home from work it started cluttering and black smoke was pouring out the back I put the peddle to the metal got it up to 55 mph and actually made it 30 mile to my house it was awsome, since i only bought the car for $300.00 and I didnt think about maintenance I was only 16 year old woman lol!! Ive learned my lessons over the years.

  • American piece of crap. I have a 94 Toyota corolla with over 160K. Looks like crap but engine is amazing...still drives almost like the day I bought it. Probably will go another 250K

  • @asifalimirza Jeeps are the best cars, its a known fact. The only reason why this one is shit is because the owners didn't take care of it.

  • @MAJORleague32 No offense, but they are not the best cars. Yes you are right that the owers did not take care of it which contributed to this problem, but that being said they are known for a multitude of problems, including suspension (rear axle failure is very common) and electrical problems abound. Just check any Jeep Cherokee forum. I have never owned one, but I know a number of people who do, and all have had problems after 70K

  • @asifalimirza I have a 04 jeep, with 125 k miles and (knock on wood) i've never had a problem

  • @asifalimirza my 1999 jeep grand cherokee hit 75,000 miles and went to hell and back.

  • @bigpeach38 My grandma's 1999 Grand Cherokee has 77,000 KM, it's never been serviced ever in its life in the whole 12 years she's owned it, but honestly it still runs awesome. And yes I've tried to get her to take it in for servicing.

  • i didn't know you could start a blown engine

  • died like a bug with its needles twitching lol

  • Are there any point of pumping the gas pedal of a fuel-injected car?

I think that only works for cars with cerburetors.

  • @057gnb3316sef6 haha yes there is a point.

  • @srgmcstud

Really? It works for fuel-injected cars?

    I didn't know that.

  • @057gnb3316sef6 I have had it work on my car that's fuel injected, however it had a bad coolant temp sensor so it made it very very rich. So pumping the throttle actually leaned the mixture out. But normally, yes you are correct the 'pumping' while turning over is not necessary for fuel injected cars and in some instances can actually mess with the tuning. Other newer cars don't inject any fuel if the throttle is touched.

  • Jeep what a piece of $hit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There's no bolts in the valve cover.

  • If it was manual yeah you could actually drive it, just have to jump on the clutch a lot... Thats clearly got a bent rod and more than one valve hitting... Its amazing it started... I'm a ford fan and I'll admit it, there is no way in hell a ford would of done what you just did...

  • i bet it belonged to a trap house o.O

  • To the scrap yard!

  • helycopter?

  • the bleeps sounds like hes swearing haha

  • A friend of mine who owns a repair shop of 40 years always talks about how terrible these engines were. He has a couple of these lying around his junk yard

  • @gatewaysolo104 Your friend clearly has no idea what he is talking about.

  • Why?

  • awwww yeah listen to that car :)

  • some 2000-2001 4.0 engines had a flaw in the head that allowed coolent to get into the oil.

  • Don't rev your engine when it's dead, otherwise you'll just fry the motor. :(

  • @b67717 i think the previous owner had already accomplished that

  • @freakstyle2030 Oh.

  • you have the chip of the computer refreshing the Grand Cherokee I had the same

  • It just wont work for you because you said you hate your jeep =-/

  • just leave the jumper box hooked up and drive it.

  • LMFAO u kill me dudee

  • .........wow. i almost feel bad far that car. dumb ass who owned it before was fucking retarded. that's all i can san.

  • wheres the "CHECK ENGINE" Light?

  • Cars with blown engines sound eerie as fuck, especially big V8s

  • Sounds like the timing was way off.

  • im sure they blew it because it was going to be repode

  • yea that car should be shot.

  • Sounds almost exactly like James of S&S Logging on Ax Men

  • Great video Kyle! I didn't know you reviewed broken cars too lol.

  • The only way to move a vehicle like that under its own power, is to double-foot it. Hold the accelerator down, because obviously idle is not enough to keep it running. With the other foot, hold down the brake real well. Shift into gear holding both, then slowly start to let off the brake till you move where you need to go. Remember, once you've gotten it to this point, you need to admit that your car is fucked and you need a motor. The battery was too dead also, btw.

  • @Chupathingy901 oh that sucks :-/ at least yours works good :)

  • sounds like my car

  • air bag light on?

  • how do you even get a blown engine?

  • Thought about pushing it?

  • the flowers on the rear view mirror tells you who the previous owner was

  • this car is on meth

  • Isn't there supposed to be a vacuum line coming off the front of the valve cover that goes to the air box? What a shame that people can't do standard maintenance on a vehicle, I have a 4.0L with a little over 230K that still runs strong, and I'm definitely not easy on it, but I do the standard maintenance and make sure its in good running condition, then I'll take it thru some trails or thru a mud pit, you know, drive it like a JEEP.

  • @JMoneymuthafucka i took care of mine and drove it a little hard. offroading was fun too. it was a 96 nissan 4x4. one day the timing chain slipped. flatted the cam lobes and only had bout 30 hp. so i sold it. finding out later that my year had a problem with bad timing chain guides -.-

  • @gotenks137690 Not saying it's always the drivers fault (I'm having issues with my Nissan right now) but usually if people take good care of their Jeep (the 4.0) it will get them well over 200k.

  • @JMoneymuthafucka yea of course. jeep 4.0s are one of the strongest out there.

  • @JMoneymuthafucka Have you took the eng. out and replaced the bearing, still getting good oil pressure? 230k wow, I also have 4.0 cherokee.

  • @1Deejay7 I haven't taken the engine out, same bearings. It still has decent oil pressure at idle, and good oil pressure while driving.

  • Dancing without music!!!!

  • dirty floor? Well, I'm over 21 age. I like to clean up in my car everyday.

  • so what did u guys do with this jeep? lol kyle got all pissed u dont see that everyday on these videos. i almost teared up just watching this becuz certain ppl do not know how to take care of their vechicles and gives a lot of ppl headaches. this thing does not have that much mileage on it either. just shows that the previous owner was a complete failure

  • only 11 years old??? lol

my 26 year old diesel mercedes running like it did when new....junk american engineering; but more relevantly, stupid retarded owners who cant care for their junk

  • @aa2398a amen

  • @aa2398a RIght on. I have an 08 toyota tacoma and I have people coming at me from left right and center saying their 1996 silverados could kick it's ass. bring it on bitches, my "jap crap" truck will own any american light truck

  • @aa2398a. Well My 91 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L still runs like new. it has 141000 and its probably going to last another 300 thousand with how reliable the 4.0L are. does your mercedes have a 2.5L in it if so then thats why because there is really nothing too the 2.5L. they are simple engines that last about 400 to 500 thousand miles.
