I predict he will confess to killing Natalee Holloway, hoping to be extradited and tried in Aruba for that crime. He will try to make a deal to serve time in Aruba before, or rather than, being returned to Peru. The Arubans will hold on to him rather than send him back, arguing that a life sentence is a life sentence no matter where the time is served. If ever released, he won't go near Peru or any country that might pick him up and hold him for the Peruvians.

Stick me in a room with him and some tools, and give me immunity from the law itself, and believe me, I would get the location of Holloway's body! I would not feel remorse for my actions. Their family deserves closure as to what happened to her. It would make it easier for them to sleep at night knowing she is dead rather than thinking she is Hugo Chavez's personal sex slave.
