@chubbmachine To hear the sample in sampler - use a midi controller (usb keyboard) to trigger the sample (playing a key). If you don't have a controller, use your computer keyboard to type the keys and trigger it. Put the sample play to >> or continually play like he does in the video to keep it playing while holding a key

ok so i got the samplification pack from ableton's website, but when I load the sampler with the multisampling turned on, all the instrument viewer says is 'sample offline' what did i do wrong?

The sampler is the only thing I miss in my "old" Cubase SX3. I would like to import it as a vst in my SX3, but I know it's not possible. SX3 + that sampler, and my life would be better :)

Can someone tell me why when my project tempo is 126bpm & i drag a clip loop thats 129 bpm into simpler or sampler in my project it does not warp tempo to that of master project tempo of 126bpm. Yet if i drag it the same clip into my project on an audio track it will convert my 129bpm clip for me to my project tempo of 126bpm? I know i could change project tempo to match my clip in simpler but that defeats the object, I would have to export & reload project to change master tempo back to 126bpm

@stereoimagery you have to draw in some MIDI... It works like a MIDI instrument - you have to choose the pitch that you want the sample to play by editing in the MIDI notes.

you have to press the key on your keyboard from A to L or MIDI controller. When you click record, then you have to click play icon and while recording press for examle A.

is the track with the sampler on it armed? make sure the little circle under the "s" is red on your track then try to play notes on your keyboard/midi controller/whatever you have.

wav is standard format, every sampler built for computer, can import those, if not it is worthless....

how do i use my samples over mp3s? for example i've just sampled a vocal track and i want to use it over another mp3. I can play them both simultaneously but it wont let me choose wher i can use the sample in the song. Is there a way i can put my vocal samples in midi so i can play them on my synth?
