It seems like everyone has their own ideas for applying cologne, but in my experience (and the experience of the females around me) this is the best method. It doesn't leave you smelling. The other methods are good for "colognes" like Axe, but for a real cologne, this is the best method. Thanks guys!
I say an even spray across the collar bone is adequate. He rubbed the cologne on his wrists because those are pulse points, but that's more of an appropriate application for women. Application to pulse points supposedly heightens the scent of the fragrance to those around you, which is why he applied so little of the fragrance.
such a shit... how he rubs his hands togehter hahaha!!! this is "cologne-waste" because it won't stay long if you rub! he puts soooo little behind the ear.
actually putting it on your clothing works very well, because its a fact, u have any on your clothes the night before, it'll be there the morning after, in fact the smell wil stay there until you wash it, and its always good to leave a jumper or something at the girl's house, because she will be smelling that all day cos it will remind her of u... thats a fact... so yeah put some on your clothing
yes i know, ive seen it, doesn;t mean i don't know what i'm on about as well you know... but i guess your clothing will smell of the fragrence anyway when you take it off, because it makes contact with your skin throughout the night, so maybe not directly spray it on, but the clothing still picks it up.

1. don't rub it on your skin, that's why all colognes have atomizers
2. don't put on your clothes, doesn't last, and it stinks in time
3. put it behind your neck, on your chest, on your wrists and if you want to make an impact, on the inside of your elbows and knees.

no, never put it on clothing because the top notes won't come out right. Look at tim swetcoff's "how to" put on cologne!!!!! Trust me, he's good!!!

you're doing it wrong. rubbing it will change the consistency and the way it interacts with your body heat. never rub. just spray on
REDSOX847 3 years ago 15
rubbing makes the cologne evaporate quicker...much better to just spray it directly!
jbecker2004 3 years ago 9
it also can alter the scent and kill it, beleive it or not!
