  • what blush do you use?

  • Leave it to a professional, or you will end up paying much more to have it fixed!!!

  • @ashyrootz not really, this technique has worked for so many people!

  • @llymlrs well, i beg to differ, considering i am a corrective color specialist... :~/ I see so many people screwing up their hair just because they are cheap...

  • @ashyrootz well to be honest, ive done this myself more than once and can think of dozens of people who have done it this way and its worked. i respect your professional opinion, but i wouldnt dismiss it for people who wanted to try this at home.

  • hi, i was just wondering...where I live you can puchase those highlighting creams in several different kinds..they will(or at least they should) make your hair 2,2-4,4-5,or even 4-6 shades lighter. I have really dark brown hair, but still i´m afraid that the 4-6 shades one will be too much..What would you recommend? :)

    btw u r amazing!

  • @RebeccasLookBook i dont really know anything about dying hair to be honest so I wouldnt know, im sure theres someone on here that might be able to help you. but from my experiance just put one layer of the highligter on, then leave it for say 10-20 mins, then apply it again for 10-20 mins or whatever the reccomended time is till you get the desired shade, it take a long time but its easier to see how it goes that way

  • I have light brown hair, and already have some blonde highlights in my hair that are pretty subtle. Could I still make it lighter on the ends without it looking weird?

  • Why do you need a highlighting kit / bleach and not blonde hair dye? I have very dark hair and I've used a blonde hair dye in the past that did a good job of lightening my hair... just wondering why you recommend not using a light hair dye. thanks for posting this video! :)

  • I love your hair. im thinking of doing this too but my hair might be too short. might wait a while:) my hairs like your colour so hopefully it wont go ginger? i love your blog! ox

  • your so cute!

  • Ok, this is the most stupid crap I've ever seen... think about it people, your coloring your hair to look like you have roots... Wow...

  • @ErikaMeah stop being such a hater. sheesh. go talk crap somewhere else.

  • @Jenniiifer321..umm yeah..ok first of all it has nothing to do with girl on here, it;s about the look... and oh yeah, its called an opinion honey.. look it up.

  • @ErikaMeah its just a style

  • @ErikaMeah Thats the point..its called "Ombre" color...look at any fashion mag, they all have this style

  • i love your blog, my favourite ever !

  • yess! my mum is going out of town so im doing this, but I have black hair so its going to be ALOOOT harder to do sadly :\ but im determined. and if ashley simpson can i can

  • good tips gonna try it. love your hair next video do a room tour

  • I'd love to do the ombre hair but the color of my hair right now is blonde-ish and I want to basically darken my hair but leave the color at the bottom the way it is...IDK how to do that...maybe just dye the top and leave the ends out...hmm

  • i want to get my hair like this but i also want the top darker. any ideas on how to dye the top and the bottom? I'm worried if i dye all of it dark and then try to bleach it it will go orange

  • More video plz ;-) I'm loving ur style so muchhhhhhh , I like to see u favorite lip product

  • thanks for the info, i did it earlier this evening and i'm super stoked. my hair is naturally dark brown and i've coloured it "darkest brown" but still i chucked the bleach on anyway and it's gone a medium brown colour, the contrast is pretty sweet. might try and go a bit lighter but am going to give my hair a rest first. cheers again! :)

  • if your hair pulls too warm (orange, red, gold) use a toner to to cool it down. choose an ash demi color and slap it on damp hair

  • thanksss for the vid!

I did it and it worked wonderfully on my hair! Ta x

  • You are so sweet, shame u didn't do the real tutorial, but i think i understand.....well...wish me luck!..hehe:)

  • Very pretty girl !

    Beautiful hair.....

  • i understand what you are explaining

but do you think it would work for dark brown/black hair?

    transitioning it to medium brown

    or would that look horrid?

    :)

  • @chloemango11 im not sure, because dark hair is notoriously hard to lighten, is it your natural colour? if it works it would look really lovely as i've seen a celeb *cant think who right now* and it looked nice

  • @llymlrs yes it is. Would i need to get it professionally done since i have previously tried to die it and it was turned orange :|

    so haven't done it since.

Or would i be able to simply do it with bleach?

    :)

    sorry for so many questions

  • @chloemango11 i think so, going from black to a lighter colour would just result in it going orange. it wont be simple to do at all sorry!
