I want to hear the kind of bag pipe music from castle crashers aka Medusas Lair level there is a part in the backround music that sounds cool and i wanted to know if any of you guys know were to find it

He is playing a two droned Irish Warpipe. Do a google search for Irish Warpipe to learn more about the instrument. It is still used by myself and others.

@heinthefirst , The only pipes that I can think of that have only 2 drones are Irish Warpipes (I personally dont like them)

What is the focus of this video the Bagpipe player or the organ player??(it should be the Piper)

Like has been already said,u can hardly hear the Bagpipes, the organ volume is far to high,the organ should be in the background(not droning out the Piper)it should compliment the over all sound.

Someone tell the director and the guy on keyboard that a bagpipe has drones it doesn't need some annoying organ chords that destroy the true melody. If you don't like bagpipe music then don't show a guy playing bagpipes drowned out by an organ. What a travesty. Absolute crap, and a waste of piping talent!

The piper is good, it's a shame the piece is ruined by some moron's decision to blast organ chords over the top of it. As I said, if you don't like pipe music there are things you can do more productively with your time and leave someone competent to do the sound edit on a piece of bagpipe music.

The Piob Mhor ("Highland") pipes were historically played in Ireland. I would agree however that the omission of a tenor drone for "Irish" pipes is a historical inacuracy, based on crude old pictures/one description of Irish pipes from the 16th century, when the pipes in Scotland would also have had 2 drones.

It's damn near impossible to see and/or hear someone play the Irish Warpipes, let alone find them for purchase. If anyone knows where I could purchase them, please do tell.

Just use a standard GHB and don't tie in the middle stock. The "Irish Warpipe" is pretty much a myth cooked up by Henry Starck anyway. Why can't you find a Brian Boru chanter? Because they're were a horrible contraption from the beginning.

You are probably correct,Irish war pipes have one bass and one tenor drone like this but his reed sounds very high pitched for Irish war pipes.
