yes. This is a very impotant day for me. I work on mercedes benz road cars for a living. i was sick of supporting mclaren as well. i dreamed of this day and now it has happened

Mercedes F1 team is British. The Mercedes team is the former Brawn team - a UK team of engineers and designers.

The Mercedes engines are designed and built in Brixworth, England. They have always been designed and built in the UK (since Mercedes came back into the sport approximately 20 years ago.) The ILmor factory was hired by Mercedes to design them. Mercedes have since purchased this factory.

Red Bull are a UK-based team also, only the actual owner is an Austrian guy.
