I love its sound. The impracticality of it I love less. It would be good for further experimentation with say a hole an inch from the edge, so it could be mounted in a more controlled way - I realise that acoustically, it would alter its sound, but something near to it could be acheived im sure. Nice inovations. Hammerax are awesome. Hats off to creativity back in music.
Hey look everybody, its the chinese cymbal that you've always wanted!
It has all the sound OF a Chinese cymbal, with none of the hassle to actually be hung comfortably, I mean, Christ, who needs comfort when you have the WOOSH?
The way it swings makes it so hard to play by the looks of it, if there was a more steady method allowing the same sound then I would be more likely to invest in one and the sound is very nice and crisp.
