The young guy does a decent enough job acting, but the heavyset guy,"James," is a horrible actor!!!!

It's true that there are not that many high budget gay movies, however there are enough good low budget ones to show that bad acting and bad screen writing aren't so much a result of bad funds as it is having bad actors and screenwriters

Well if you don't have proper funding, then you won't have good screen writers or actors. Simple as that.

my point was if the person who came up with this movie was a great screen writer, he or she wouldn't need funds to hire a good one. Also overall, if someone can't get the funding to make a decent flick or at least be able to write a decent screenplay then maybe they shouldn't make a movie at all. It's better for there to only be a few good gay films out there rather than a few good gay films and a thousand bad ones.
