  • The clashes were not between sunnis and shia, they were between the security forces and citizens.

  • So much misinformation!

Bahrain had a parliament from 73 - 75. That parliament was disbanded by the state security law & martial law for over 3 decades.

The national charter negotiations of 2001 were supposed to return political life and the '73 constitution, but the ruler unilaterally imposed the 2002 constitution which blocks parliament with an upper house and consolidates his powers over the executive, judiciary and legislature.

  • Governments promote this..In America its Called republicans and Democrats..Liberals and Conservatives--republican by far hold more class and decency..Democrats are like welfare uneducated and choose their leaders based on B/S and hearsay repeated from their party. If they only knew both side are United behind the scens and the Public is only divided..We would demand things get done. And stop the fake fighting for us which they do not do.They cannot fix our needs, cause we won't need them after.

  • I will advice to sunni learn what happened in Iraq sunni ,don't let the shia trick again.support the king of Bahrain he is our Wali and obey him .fill the place sunni brothers from everywhere,so Shia will not plot like Iraq style .

  • This kind of blind sectarian mentalities will only degrade the Ommah more and more. Hate does not cause civilizations to rise.. If Saddam has listened to Shaikh Zayed of UAE no occupation will would have occurred. Shai and Sunnis lived long back together in Bahrain. Rather than oppressing Shiites and evoking the extreme nationalist movement, Power needs to be shared by the different sectors in Bahrain.

  • To solve any "problem". One has to address it first; then respond accordingly. denial will not solve Bhrainis' problems. desperate actions like giving citizenship to whomever as long as they are from a certain sect will not work. why do not he step aside and let people reason among each other to resolve their differences.

  • Once again.. Get on with your lives and thank god for what you have..

  • Finally no difference between sunni and shites jew christian etc, even in Bahrain we have jews who live happily and probably better than residing in israel and better life too

  • Loads of rubbish and misguidance, bahrain aint that bad, first of all stop damaging your own country by your hands and listen to what others have to say,

  • Please dont bring Iran in the Issue , In Iran even the jews have representetives , I hope the both sides would understand they are both WRONG . Because religion is screwed up anyways .

  • I think Bahraini ppl are understress coz they r ((poor)) f the government offered a higher living level the ppl will learn how 2 appreciate, luv the country & how 2 luv eachother coz there are ppl who doesnt luv Bahrain. Also there are ppl who following the orders that cum from Iran and evrybody know whatz Iran thinking about from along time ago. GOD BLESS BAHRAIN لا سني ولا شيعي بس بحريني

  • Thanks to the ongoing activities of the opposition and the ever-increasing unbiased media reports, the reality about the terrible conditions in Bahrain are reaching the world. Bahrain is perhaps the only country in the world where a bloc wins the majority of votes but gets less than half the seats in Parliment.
