Do you have a vid, to show how you made the foundry? Also what do you use to get the heat up to 1220*C.

I do not have a video of the building of the foundry, but I would like to make such a video sometime.

To heat the material, we burn coal and use a bathroom vent fan or leaf blower to force air (oxygen) into the combustion chamber.

No. I don't remove any contaminates. I add contaminates because the crucible is open-top. It's filthy.

Hey, I understand covering the liquid, but why do you put so much weight on it?

We placed the weight on top of it in order to keep the top flat. Before that it would come out similar to a loaf of bread. Not as rounded, but similar.
