  • still epic, VICTORY BELONGS TO GERMANY!

  • Very interesting work.

  • this is what bbc would have looked like when germany would have wone the war ^^

  • Kerberos are actually post German-invasion Japan's SWAT forces, though it can be asumed that this version is in fact the military leg that spawned kerberos.

In any case people don't stop being people because they're wearing a certain insignia that later became a taboo.

That's like saying Hindus are all racist mass murderers because the Swastika is derived from their symbology.

Soldiers are soldiers, no matter what the propaganda says.

  • @darkwartexx

" the Swastika is derived from their symbology."

    It certainly isn't. You bafoon.

  • @Pandamanrr It is "bafoon". Both Indo-ARYAN and euro mythology refers to same ancestors and symbols (including swastika).

Both vedic India and would be western civilization was founded by two branches of same people. So there.

  • Stupid ppl always confirm godwyn's law

  • Actually jin-roh mean genie-soul in malay

  • whats with the gas-mask-guy!

  • a great short film i hope they make a movie from this i would love to see the german protect gear win at the battle of stalin and see them sweep across the east

  • Is there maybe a full movie of this last Battalion....

  • more frame rate & the movement is real as flesh!!! it is forcive that these people make more stuff about this or even a movie!!!▐▐▐

  • Anime ja nai

  • Some one who know's what they are talking about please tell me what this is in detail !

This stuff is bad ass !

  • This japanese dude made this animation as a schoolproject. This is from the Jin-Roh saga. If you want to know about the backround info then chek out the anime Jon-Roh the wofl brigade. Its about that the axis won the war and that germany developed this kind of armor to be used in the eastern front. Whats funny is that this is clearly the western front.

  • Anyways. Its fiction at its best. There is this audiobook / radio series about the ww2 and about this battalion that uses this kind of armor played in japan and apperently the creator got inspired by it and made this short animation. Anyways, thats all i know :)

  • @svarttshirtargrejen

    Thank's !

  • @svarttshirtargrejen Actualy you can see Stalin Organs Katysuya rockets so probaly Eastern Front but it probaly is Western Front aswell

  • This needs to be a full leangth feature soooo bad. Got goose bumps first time i watched it.

  • japanese really love nazis

  • I can see its 3d. what games this?

  • the japanese believed we are their "smaller brothers"

if germany or the real freedom fighters (anti-communist) had won the war the world would be much better; without feeding the less(minderwertigen) we could share the planet and wouldnt waste our potential to kill each other but we could leave the planet to conquer the universe

  • @allesscheisse99 See? And I believe, that exactly ALL problem of today´s EU (Germany being its core) is in misguided people like you...

Commies went away. But their destructive utopian marxist ideas on society have became part of european psyche. Frankfurt school is perfect example of this.

    Anarcho-leftits rule once proud continent.

  • I´d love to see that feature length.

Futuristic Germans crossing Ural to Asia, then to world domination.

Can guilty pleasure get any better than that?

  • Holy shit! Fund it, fund it, FUND IT!!

  • This video (images of the last battalion) was NOT a continuation of the Jin-Roh universe, and the only affiliation with it is the armor worn.

  • I bet that winning Europe would have been difficult for the Allies if the Germans acually had these armored soldiers.

  • They're a fictional Japanese invention that happened after WW2. :P

  • I knew that. I'm just saying...

  • so where do you see the whole thing

  • Great looking images!

  • On the radio Adolf Hitler told about 'The Last Battalion' in his last speach.

It is the force which inherits his will and fight back against jewish international bankers in the future.

  • That short film has nothing to do with Nazi propaganda or glorification of any kind! Read more about it somewhere on the net and then post comments!

  • You are not listening (reading in that case) to what I'm saying! With the risk to be marked as spam, type "images of the last battalion" at wikipedia and read the article!

  • @Sycken Swastikas everywhere in this clip. But then again Nazism isnt as taboo in Japan as in the west cause of their alliance during the war.

  • @arveduilastking In that case woulnt be a tabu in Germany xD

  • @Sycken And who cares? They just made a great anime and video! and is fucking great I dont care if is seen by as nazi propaganda by the same people that anyone aobut everyhing

  • @ImperialGuard9001 ha, that was an old comment :) Anyhow, it is a nice vid.

  • @Sycken It does not matter if this piece of work was intended as a glorification of National Socialism or not, it probably doesn't matter. Fact is, Nazism in Japan is not a taboo. The symbols, uniforms, and perhaps anything related to Nazism is actually often sought after, and considered to be something cool by many.

  • @TakCWAL I know how things are in Japan, but that wasn't the point of what I said. Anyway, I cannot believe I still get replies for a 2 year-old comment :D

  • @Sycken Just seemed like you are trying quite hard to make us believe this short video is not intended as "glorification of any kind". Thus I am providing a counterpoint that yes, it is in a way, 'glorification' of National Socialism, or more specifically, the 'heroic sacrifice' of its soldiers, if you will.

  • @TakCWAL Who the fuck cares, if it is glorification of Nazis?

Glorious Basterds is glorification of jewish mass murderers and nobody had problem with it. Now, I want to see german tech in action.

  • @TakCWAL The video was made by Koichi Kishita, and you should know that this is inspired by the story behind Mamoru Oshii's Kerberos saga (Jin Roh, Kerberos Panzer Jager, etc) where Germany wins World War II, and occupies Japan (who was part of the Allied Powers instead of the US) establishing a pro German regime.

Also you should note that in Japan the use of the swastika is not prohibited by law and thus is not considered taboo.

  • how come artilery operators wear armor

  • they want to looks cool

  • maybe due to high level of contamination on battlefield?

  • yeah right, and the yuse gas mask for oxygen and water support due to their armor heavyness

  • They belong to the Panzer Jägers, who all wear that type of heavy armour in the Kerberos saga.

  • Aren't they japanese? I'm not familiar with this anime, but why are they wearing nazi insignias and ww2 era weapons?

  • No; these are the Kerberos Panzer Jägers - The original German anti-tank force. I'm not sure how they and the Japanese Panzer Korps are related, though.

  • They're not related per se, I think, except in equipment and, perhaps, fighting doctrine. In the alternate history setting of the Kerberos saga, I think Germany won WW2 and were the ones who occupied Japan. If I read the synopsis properly, one of the turning points in that alternate history is the supplying of the Protect Gear (which is pretty much bullet resistant full plate) to German soldiers in Stalingrad or something.

  • This is a upcoming game? o.o

  • no, it was a student work/project

  • it would make a hellah tight game

  • It's actually a MG-42

  • I think the guy in the front actually has a MG34. I know it's just a cartoon image but if you look real close you can see the round barrel jacket with the cooling holes cut in. The guy back left definitely is carrying a 42.

  • I've come across this before. It's supposed to be an MG-42 but the artists often show the older MG-34 as well. It's probably for variation without realising that they are manufactured differently and don't behave the same.

  • Whats that thing at about 00:39?

  • the weapon is the MG-43, however the armor in :39 was and has not been produced or designed in real life

  • awesome

  • this is sweet

reminds me of some video game intros ive seen

  • man i spent 800$ on my armor i love its

and my Shoei mg-42 cost me 600$ so i look very authentic at cosplay events in Japan.

i love kerberos panzer cops and this cgi film!

  • $600 for a Shoei MG-42?!?

Was this the model gun or the airsoft gun?

  • nope this is an Airsoft MG-42

A friend of mine at the publishing company

sold it to me when i was in Japan

every cosplay event i go to me and my wife

    Jinji dress like Panzer cops

people freak when they see a hardcore Japanese girl dressed in armor!

  • WOW every1 should promote this to get it seen its truly amazing

  • man, i really hope this turns into a movie i would for sure take a look at, it looks bad ass.

  • wow

  • Awesome

  • kick ass cgi, big props, movie comes out in 2009 right?

and Panzer's right, during the war and before it, the German military was far more advanced than anybody else, i mean many innovations of modern day weapons come from add-ons on German designs. Even to this day, Germany still continues to put out newer and better concepts and innovations. and the US is buying em.

  • A movie comes out supposedly but this is basically a fanfilm.

  • epicness

  • man, i hope they make a full CGI movie like this. I'd buy it!

  • jesus cristh .... are there actual human beings that believe those pics and footage to be real ... god, this video is awsome, but damn .... you ppl are stupid

  • yeah i know, pick up a history book people!!

  • GG using a generic font for the logo.

  • I never knew this.

  • hey people good news in the near future there will be an anime or somthing like that wich will serve with this thematic

  • Wow. Hopefully, we'll employ similar suits with our troops within the next 20 years.

  • aaaa wolfsbrigade rocks and Jin Roh is one of the greatest Animes ever i wished this clip were a 3 houers movie

  • can anyone explain this .... plz .. caus iv never seen the German army in ww2 with gear like that plz explain

  • Sure, this is based on the japanese manga called Kereberos Corps (Hellhound Panzer Cop in U.S, Germany, U.K) about a alternative WWII history. It's pretty good. There is also a movie release years ago for Jin-Roh which is also a good one. Look for em :)

  • nah dont worry its not real if the germans did have guys like that beleive me they would have kicked the shit out of the americans along with the russians easily, though i bet you could show that to a old person and make them beleive it were real:P

  • > Well I'm sure as Arms Races have gone, the other side would have had similar gear.

  • Not even. The Germans were so far ahead of the Allieds. However, what they lacked was means to produce any effective amounts of their new wonder equipment.

  • > That may be true. But you seem to miss the part where I mention "Arms Race." The allies would have come up with their own counterparts or would have stolen and modified the German ones.

  • I agree they would have tried, but it would have taken time. As was illustrated in the case of Infra Red mounted on weapons, just as one example. the Allieds never successfully used it in combat during WWII, something which the Germans succeeded in, with the Panther Tank, in 1944. It would have taken about two years to catch up I believe. And had the Germans had sufficient man power, those two years would have proven to be the end of atleast Britain and Russia.

  • the industrial capacity of Germany was way smaller than Allies. Quality will eventually fall by quantity. Like crappy T-34 overcomed Tiger.

  • Indeed. In numbers they reign. The T-34 was actually a great tank. Towards the later war, the construction quality really fell to shit, but it was not a bad design. Just that the later German tanks were much better than it.

  • It's just base on Japanese science fiction.

  • > We know. All of our points are based half on Historical Reference and "what-ifs?"

  • yea, stray dog and red spec have been out since the 80's but add them both up its only like 10mins worth of the panzer cop outfit though. rest is really slow, i only suggest renting these and copying the action scenes.

  • no joke Stray Dog could have been AT LEAST 30 minutes shorter

  • IMPRESSIONANT!

  • Someone needs to sell this armor online.

  • a guy on Ebay sells the Stray dog version of the armor for $1,500 US. thats just the armor, no BDUs, no MG-42

  • is this a game?

  • wow I hope that really will be a movie

  • This looks so great!

The real movie Leonidas mentioned could be the movie I've always been waiting for!

  • Where the Soviets get a jackboot in the ass and ranks of SS can be seen marching past the white-house lawn. ; )

  • Looks great, hope it makes it to the states, both the CG film and the live action. Extra Note: Two live action Jin-Roh movies were already released: The Red Spectacles and Stray Dog.

  • There is a radio show in Japan which is about a german division in WW2 using the equipment seen in "Jin Roh".

The creator of this short film was inspired by that radio show.

And in 2009 a real movie is going to be released.

  • What exactly is this, i mean is it a Preview of something up coming, or just a fan made movie

  • supposedly it's a short film, though a live action version of Jin Roh is due to come out in 2008 or 2009

  • Do you know if it would handle with the original Jin Roh theme? Because the short film seems to be about a SS-Division in the normandy.

  • Anime WWII prequel, Kerberos Panzer Blitzkrieg.

  • In a word its amazing. May I ask to where a download of this can be gotten?

  • heres the link to download the video mms://mercury.via.or.jp/dhw/df05/lastbattalion.wmv
