I don't wanna sound negative, but it pisses me off that none of the actors from the cast of Queer As Folk is famous movies or series lately. They're REALLY got talent. Hal Sparks, for example, is straight, but was so brave to play Michael, and so convincent... Hollywood probably doesn't call them to big shows often because they are gay or straights that didn't bother playing gay characters. That happens to almost all actors that play gay characters, so unfair...

Hi there. Believe it or not, I was the guy who created the colourful graphics that you see in this opener. However, I was never provided a copy of the finished product. I'm currently trying to assemble a show reel of my work, and I'm trying to track down a high quality version of this video. So far I've yet to have much luck with torrent sites - as the episodes available seem to have had the opening credits lopped off.

I definitely think it is worth it!

Some people just say it is too much sex.Well, it is about gay people, and it includes their sexylife.Like straight series.And there are all types of characters: the fucker, the low self steem, the naive one, the cute one, etc etc..I found this show quite nice, specially when you watch saying good bye, you see how much important it was for gay rights and gay people in general... ^^

the UK series was a mini series, only about 17 episodes and I personally think it was just as good, it was the original, they sent the script to US telling them it was the best show they would never see... The US was appalled by everything in it and decided to take their chances and make a show out of it, which they share a lot of the script, only differently. the US series is about 54 episodes, its 5 seasons when UK's was only one. they also end a lot differently, but share the way they left.

I think Season 1 opening with this was the right choice. American media was kind of in the closet with the gay lifestyle. This was a brash intro that pretty much was in your face - but it got America talking about us.
