Having yr own nominal currency is such a proactive idea it is to be highly commended, i only trust that council or govt will not intervene...
i now look forward to moving to yr community - i have now made up my mind about that after hearing about your evolutionary scheme on ACA 2nite. We do not need bankers, fed res, loans or corporate golf courses!!..
We need freedom from a corrupt system and to make our own sustainable solutions.

Not all residents of Maleny think like you do. There is actually quite a lot of people for the proposal, so quit acting like you're the majority. You people can never seem to accept a decision if it's not what YOU wanted. Well you can't always have what you want.. get used to it.. get over it!

At least you have a sense of humour. Of course both surveys state that the majority of people in Maleny DO NOT WANT A GOLF COURSE. These are the facts. The Obi Parklands teams proposal slightly amended by the council officers plan would have been an excellent outcome for Maleny.
Now we're stuck with the "Two Dons" plan which fills the precinct with a golf course, and cuts the riparian zone from 40 meters to 10. Outrageous!! Down with "The Dons"

We are supposed to live in a democracy, but if our elected representatives are allowed to carry on like this, we will see our rights gradually eroded away. Don't let them make an example of Maleny. Maleny, let's make an example of THEM!

This is a great informative video that everyone should watch if they are interested in the underhand way the Caloundra City Council works, with Don Aldous as it's leader. Shameful!!

It's a bummer for the anti-woolies crew that are also against the golf course... because IGA are supporting it!
