Remy did a great job this tournament, Far above my expectations. I was for Badr this tournament but it is true that Remy got the Tough opponents this year. Errol was in good shape and was fighting like a beast. People who are hating on remy should count all the low kicks he got in that match... Well, remy deserved to win from semmy imo...

The fight proves a couple of things. 1) Remy still has the physical and mental tools to compete in today's k-1, and compete well. 3rd place in the WGP is no joke. However, 2) Even a three-time champ can slip up. Semmy is still a threat, as he proved to everyone: Ghita, JLB, Remy, Badr, Aert's record, ALL were smashed. While Remy was able to demonstrate accuracy, speed, and power in the first down, he took the first bout too lightly, and it caught up to him. Can't cruise through the WGP.

watch the fight it is not a right cross that knocks remy down the second time. a left hook lands on his guard and then a right low kick to his left leg knocks him down. he has noone to blame but himself for taking too much damage to his leg

I agree that he is kind of an actor.. But how you walk after a fight and 10min later doesnt mean your acting. That just means the adrenalin has run out.. You can feel like the king that moment, but once youve stopped fighting tenminutes later you cant eve walk, the next day you'll be totally be fucked..

remy should have tried to finish errol in the second or third round cause errol hard low kicks meant that remy could not use his hard kicks in the fight with semmy.

im just going to say this cause noone else is i think if remy didnt carry the injury with his leg in the fight against Semmy then i think the result would have been different.

People, are you mad? Each quarterfinal was easy expect Bonjasky vs Zimmerman. JLB actually gave up himself and did absolutely nothing against Schilt. Similar goes for Texeira, who turned out to be very easy to deal with. Karaev was totally out of any tactic, went on exchange as stupid street fighter and got KO very fast. Bonjasky was fighting with Zimmerman 3 rounds bout, which was hard and technical. How couldn't you see a difference?!

I don't how one has to be biased to think that Zimmerman is as easy opponent as Karaev, Texeira or recently JLB. Some of you should think before write something. I always wonder how incompetent are people commented on K-1 and they always exceed my expectation.

the interesting thing I see : the fighter who talk much before the fight lost K1 ,like Overreem mistake "MMA is harder than K1 :) , nobody want him win " ,and Hari, Remy . Everyone goes on about Remys defence,He has a great defence and for the most part avoids taking heavy blows to the head.He is probably the most PURE Muay Thai fighter in k1.very similar to the thais in how he fights.The guy has the best kicks and knees in the game.

No its not a gift from God, BUT is one of, if not the most dangerous striking art out there jmo.You may not like his style but his record speaks for itself.U dont fluke that many wins at worldclass level.Best defence by far in K1,Great kicks,theres better guys with hands.Hari,Lebanner,etc.You cant disagree that his style is v.effective,and trubles alot of fighters.

He beat Aerts record just by 30 seconds...Hari made it easy 4 him with attacking even he was knock down.Anyway, That would have been amazing if Badr knocked him out in the first minute and he would have shattered the recored, 2 time faster...he won the first 38 sec. and the second about1 min30 sec...

Remy will just improve his reaction for avoiding (not only taking) opponents punches and kicks, and will get used to attacking his opponents more agressively, and....:)
