Qs are better for Maine IMHO because it carries over a greater distance and can warn people when a line of sight is not an option with the hills and blind corners and areas of trees and or other sound breaks the Q can alert people that might not hear the electronic version. I do think that the electric options have there place but I think the Q demands more attention.

@NsTrainMan07 ,. the last unit out was rescue 1 , rescue 1 is now disbanded , the engines now run as paramedic engines now i believe,.
