I agree but the only other alto voice in metal (feel free to correct me if Im wrong) is Cristina Scabbia and her voice has more of a hard rock feel to it rather than a classical touch like Charlotte's...which is what makes Delain different

mmm.. well I know she's not something exceptional but she has a beautiful voice, a normal voice, not classical, and I think she has a register of mezzo or even a soprano, you can hear it in sleepwalker's dream song...

The fact that she took classical lessons doesn´t mean she is singing in a classical way, in fact she doesn´t sing in a classical way, I love her voice, and you can say she is an alto, but the register she uses in her songs is not from an alto, it´s much higher like a mezzo as I said... maybe she has a huge register but as I can hear she doesn´t sing in an alto register.. and I take singing classes in the conservatory too, and I´m in my second year.. I love her voice.. ;)
