Hello:

This proposal for conversion is about Light Rail on these sections of the Transitway.

No buses will run on the Transitway when it is converted to Light Rail. That has always been the long term plan for the Transitway when it was conceived in the 1970s. It is up to the City to decide whether to continue running those bus routes and if so, on what roads/transitways to run them on. I am currently teaching at the high school level in Ottawa.
