Noo I think the song is about how a guy loves his girl, but she doesn't like him as much as she uses to. She sees other guys and he is heartbroken telling her that don't do what your doing it's hurting me. Then he tells her love me as much as I love you even though later on I won't love you as much. I was a little confused at first..until I just experienced something like this.

Basically, it's about how selfish someone can become in a relationship.

In this case, the guy wants to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to do the things he wants (example: drinking, not calling the girlfriend, eyes drifting towards other women) yet he expects his girlfriend to still remain by his side.

He knows the girlfriend is a pure and wonderful person, but he is conflicted with himself.

He knows his girlfriend is a good person and it's not her fault. He just continues the same behavior that probably upsets her...
