I disagree 100 percent. This game is great all around. Granted,playing it by yourself doesn't help it though. It's better as a two player experience.

Complaining about the sound? Dude, it's the Genesis. What do you expect? Complaining about the story? It's an arcade port. Again... what do you expect? Repetition? Again... arcade game meant for more than one player. We are all entitled to our opinions obviously. I just disagree with yours.

BTW you can sace the strippers adn you get bonus points when you do. And when you find all of the members of Aerosmith, if you can, you get a sweet party with the band! And you totally should have let some of the music play. And yes, thearcade game is far superior with way better control and sound. It's got the actual songs!

The only decent ported version of Revolution X were the Sega Saturn and PSone versions.

I didn't like the SNES ported one as much, and the Genesis one was ehhhh....Not so good.

Nothing could beat the Arcade version though.

yes one to many damn clones you had to battle, and their ever occuring elevators vvvvrrrr! but then again maybe thats why you fighting this new order because they threaten the world with lazy clones and thousands of elevators at every gentleman's club (as seen in this game) though that level in the rain forest was kinda cool but yeah one of the world greatest rock band should have had a bigger hand and more input in this mess. Though I hate to say it was kinda fun back in the day

I do like how everything you mentioned on your reveiw was actaully fixed in the playstation version of the game. There is sound when they shoot. There is, not only a variation in the different enemies, but a variation in the colors of the enemies. Steve Tyler doesn't do that "don't give up, play it again", and the diffuculties are easy, medium and hard. Btw, I do own the playstation version. lol

Actually you can destroy that armoured car thing on the first level. You need to find the hidden machine gun, its the only way to destroy it.
