this is a dumb question but does anyone no what its called when people are singing and there voice kinda sounds like there hitting there throat with there finger a bunch of times in a row lol i don't really no how to describe it
thats what i thought as well. i think it is probably because each track is panned slightly differently so there need to be a vocal on each track. not sure though.
@samdiaz123 not its because when freddie recrded them he did more or less 4 or5 lead vocal track so thats why we heard different track of the lead vocals.and at the end of the mastering they choose the best.but also on the original and final version you can notice that in the second chorus there is a second track its the only place in the song which the lead vocal is doubled on that lyrics: "i sometimes wish i'd never been born at all"
Only a true genius like Freddie could have written Bo Rap!

Freddie mercury was one of the greatest song writers ever. I mean I put him up there with Bach and Mozart.

Old skool production, using real musicians - I wonder what they could have done using today's technology? Back then they were using tape...

Do you have any more Queen songs like this?
jmetzge3 2 years ago
@jmetzge3 - this one was leaked several years ago. As far as I know this is the ONLY Queen song where all the separate tracks are out there.

He did multiple takes of the vocal lead - the melody you hear on the finished track is actually the best parts culled from each take.
