well if u break the anime down, the only good parts were this ending theme, and one character "saber" (possibly few more if they had more screem time). Overall a slighty above average anime Can't say its worth crying over.

The anime is terrible I agree. Which is unfortunate since I had played the Visual Novel before and it is simply amazing. They managed to seriously screw things when doing the adaptation.

Thankfully, the sequel, Fate/Zero, is turning into an excellent anime.

big anime fan and I just finished this one today, great anime, all the way through was awsome, seemed there was more that the manga could probably have in it but for 24 eps I didn't once feel short changed. 2nd saddest outcome of a character, 2nd only to Teresa Claymore, love sabre.
