hmmm interesting version, they've removed the extra vocal track from jimi and some of the percussion...its has a much cleaner sound now...but i still prefer the other verison...i like this though just not as much as the other..
@MattiaTheWho Perhaps the vocal track was presented a semi- tone faster to accomodate guitar tuning.Or maybe it's buried back further in the mix. Yeah his pitch seems a bit higher. But it's his voice okay.
One of the swankiest tunes Jimi ever did, it's hard rock meets a kind of super-hip urban blues ... probably would've become a whole new style of 70's music had Jimi lived, it didn't because nobody else really pulled it off - anybody else who tried left the hard rock out and went Curtis Mayfield.
Hello there music appreciator. I know this looks like spam But PLEASE HEAR ME OUT

I have found this pusher of drugs - 'roll the goo goo goo gu jube' and feel the magic, on several sites and was wondering are they trying the infect with drugs a certain segment oif society, and what about the suppression of the flash mobs, as in the P>A>T> r/i/o/t/ act, "Whereas no group nshall be allowed to flash in an unfavourable manner or in such stance....blah blah blah, you know the drill.. the desire to be loved
This was YET another Alan Douglas redux. Shameful. The version that appears on Cry of Love and First Rays is the version Jimi himself was mixing with Kramer. So ill take the First Rays version over this any day!!
@72rocknrolla you spoke what I chose to keep to myself, congrats!, or did I really, after all, all our thoughts and dreams, all seeing creatolr and all., so NO MORE CABBOOSE!!!
Quote: The album was made up of unfinished studio recordings which were intended to be released on Hendrix's newest studio album, which was never-to-be.
This is such a strange mix, good though!!!
