  • Wonderful

  • Total Wizardry, Tommy from mot;ley crue based his drumming from Cozy....me thinks..DYNAMITE. pure power. RIP Cozy.

  • I don't think the Vid and the music match up. I think it was a solo in the middle of 'All night long' Some clown's added the 1812 for a laugh.

Cudda been an April fool thingy

  • @BertHigginbottom although it doesn't quite match up , it is in fact Cozy playing along to the 1812 Overture (presumably a backing track). There are much clearer versions on here.

  • what a shite sound........

THE 1812 FUZZ-A-TURE......this posting was recorded in the pub across the road from the gig.....

  • One of the best 1812 pieces I have ever seen. Cozy was the best RIP Bro.. We miss you...

  • That Tchaikovsky´s piece is awesome, and Cozy was a great drummer. Fuck the boring classic fans who don´t like this!

  • the cymbals is like going to break into pieces.. ups for the late cozy powell!!

  • THE man!

  • how the fuck is it a solo? he's got London Phil and his Harmonica in the background

  • Well, I was going to say, "Haven't you ever seen a performance where there is a full orchestra backing up a 'soloist'?"... Then I actually watched the video :( At least he started to actually do something other then pound his cymbles as hard as he could. Not my favorite video and a great way to dis-honor Tchaikovsky

  • Who the fuck is Tchaikovsky?

  • The guy that wrote it I think.

  • Tchaikovsky, a Russian composer, wrote this song.

You may also be familiar with the Nutcracker.

  • Maybe you should see the whole video. Look for Best drum solo ever by Cozy powell and wacht it in HD. you probably will appreciate him more. The best dubbel bass drummer ever.

  • Que energía! :D

  • I've seen that live in the "Schwimmbad Club", Heidelberg. Can't remember the date. It was awesome! He's the best!

  • Here is all information I got:

Toms: 13", 14", 16" and 18". all toms with REMO PinStripe clear skins

  • what toms and snare he was using?

    R.I.P :(

  • !!!yea!!!

  • awesome! he is THE legend. I see a rainbow rising!

  • Awesome!!! I was lucky enough to see Rainbow many times and saw this performance more than once. I thought that the years might have exaggerated my memories, but no, it's every bit as good as I remember!! Long live Rock and Roll.

  • He was THE rock drummer...

    R.I.P.

  • The BEST!

  • Now I saw Cozy do this live in Aber in the 197something....and this performance was awesome!!

  • out of this world rip

  • Funniest thing I've seen in ages. Now I know from how they got the idea for Animal in the Muppets! ;-)

  • Awesome, man.

  • this-is-just-great!
