  • I thought it was" CRACK HEAD"

  • This loomed large at our house when my kids were young bookworms.

  • Great movie and great scene. Will be interesting to see what the remake is going to be like

  • I hope CHAPTERS NEVER takes off the front sign of that store...As far as Im concerned, that building is a historical landmark. This is why Toronto is such a great place to film a movie.

  • If i'm not mistaken I believe the line is shithead not crap head. this must be a tv friendly version

  • @Littlewing1977 In every version I've seen it's been "craphead"

  • why didnt they pick up any tail? like Laverne & Shirls

  • Proof that technology is moving backwards...He had only 512 Megabytes of memory when most of our "modern" day computers have 4-8 GIGABYTES and they still can't do the things that he does!! Where are all the flying cars?! LOL

  • 2 people had their books taken away.

  • Imagine if they made a third movie, it would be Johnny Five on the computer through the entire movie getting "input" from the internet.

  • @jhhwild scrolling true web sites af fast as he does with those books :P

  • @jhhwild Probably wouldn't even need a computer, just access the net with that antenna thing

  • When the first scene opened I though "that looks like the BMO tower in Toronto" then I saw the World's Biggest Bookstore and I knew... it IS Toronto!... way back when I was just born

  • I like to see johnny 5 on red bull.

  • whats the title of thoes 2 books

  • @afordian u mean johnny 5 took the book from the store? its Pinocchio and Frankenstein

  • @afordian if i remember correctly, one was frankenstein

  • Memories :)

  • I love his gasp. This was one of my favorite movies as a kid.

  • every thing you ever wanted to know about... sex.

  • top 3 movie robots

    johnny 5

    r2d2

    wall-e

  • hahaha lol input

  • I've been to this bookstore Johnny 5 goes to town on.

  • Everthing You Want to Know About....... 0:32

  • this honestly made my DAY! input input whooo whoooo :P

"see those 2 guys over there? they want to take your books away"

    *LONG DRAMATIC GASP* LOL!! :D

  • eh, the movie was better lol

  • The movie was shot in Toronto. The World's Largest Bookstore actually exists. It's on Edward St, one block off Yonge St. in the heart of downtown. I've been there many, many times. It's always a "must" whenever I visit T.O.

  • 0:20 INPUT INPUT INPUT WHOOO WHOO!!!

  • 1:23 when J5 Gasp...... that gets me EVERYTIME, hahahaha

  • "The movie was better." irony is lulz. XD

Notice the significance of the two bo0ks he finds most interesting -- 'Pinnochio' and 'Frankenstein'. Both Pinnochio and Frankenstein's "monster" ("monster" being a subjective term since Victor himself is often portrayed as being more monstrous in spirit than his creation, much like Herbert West) are Post-humyn (or trans-humyn or proto-humyn or whathaveyou) Autonomous Lifeforms just like Johnny.

  • YEH GO J-5

  • How did Johnny 5 get through the turn stall?

  • omg was that the barnes and noble on 53rd st? lol

  • @violetcloud Nah thats Canada they were tying to make it seem like its nyc

  • @mathhattan yeah i figured it wasnt after i commented. it doesnt even look like hte b&n are a LOL

  • see those 2 guys, they want to take your books away" Johnny 5: *gasp*

  • 5!!

  • I think Wall-E was great, and pretty awesome animation. But I will always love Short Circuit!

Also, I went to the same library as Johnny 5 and used the same phrase as I walked up to the counter "May I have these crap head?" and then they kicked me out of the library because I insulted apparently, but I was only just kidding....

  • @JamesWorldStudios They probably didn't know you were referencing the movie which means they're pop culture laymen which means they're lame.

  • Dam i miss sunday afternoon movies

  • 5, if I were you, I wouldn't read that "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex" book.

  • "may i have these crap head"? "... they want to take your books away" hahahahahahahahaha

  • Very Funny At 1:22!!!!!

  • @jamespic What's even funnier is, they were able to avoid the guards by simply leaving the bookstore...guess those two were absent during "How to find the front door" part of their training.

  • Wall-e ain't got anything on Johnny 5. He will always be the coolest robot.

  • @Ziggurat2009 That reminds me, imagine a WALL-E + Johnny Five AMV set to the tune of Harry Chapin's 'Cats in the Cradle' (imagine that WALL-E is JOHNN-E's surrogate son).

    \8-D

In turn, Wheems from 'Batteries Not Included' could be WALL-E's surrogate son (not in terms of chronological contuity, but this would just be for the sake of the video).

  • "2 exellent books may i have these craphead " ^_^

  • See those guys down there? They want to take your books away! AHUUHHH!

  • -AND WATCH, THE SHIRT!

    -Silk?

    -DAMN RIGHT!

  • Two excellent books. May I have these Crap Head?

  • hahahahahahaha!

  • Input input input. WOOOO WOOOOO!

  • Johnny 5 must've loved being in the bookstore

  • coondogtheman1234: "lol Johnny 5 goes ape shit in the bookstore for input, imagine if he discovered the internet, he would be unstoppable lol "

    Skynet

  • Damn military industrial complex. They had the internet 20 years before they allowed the masses to utilize it.

  • ...I'd say... "Input Overload".

  • I love that the filmmakers didn't even TRY to hide that the city was Toronto.

    Blatantly obvious.

    Brings me back, tho.

  • "see those 2 guys"

    "ya"

"they wanna take your books away"

    "GASP!**"

rofl fucking loved this when i was a kid, when a VHS was considered the piniacle of movie entertainment lo l

  • This bookstore scene was filmed in Toronto... 20 Edward Street. =P

  • @buddhasknowbest I've been there many times. It's a "must" every time I visit T.O. The movie was shot in downtown Toronto. The corners opposite the Eaton Centre have sure changed since the movie was filmed. But Chinatown on Dundas is still the same. Toronto is my favorite city to visit for vacation. We're only across the lake near Rochester, but now it's a hassle to go there because of the border crossing rules. We've gone from three or four visits annually to one, if at all. Darn terrorists.

  • lol Johnny 5 goes ape shit in the bookstore for input, imagine if he discovered the internet, he would be unstoppable lol

  • Love this movie so much. The first movie was probably the best though. =P

  • Thanks for uploading this. I always feel like this guy when I'm learning new stuff. Ahhh input!

  • I love this movie...1:22 soooooo sweet
