  • i can't find that beat anywhere can u tell me where i can get it from?

  • tooo cool!

  • thx!

  • you no are the original dj tutorial

  • how many rpm are u using 45 or 78???

  • thats all at 33 staffs4life

  • I have a question.

Straight arm vs. curved arm turntables, is there really a difference??

  • straight arms will give you a better hold on the record but the angle at which the cut into the groove of the record increases the damage the needle does on the vinyl

s arms give a better sound quality (its argued) and less wear on the vinyl but they dont hold on to the record so well

hope that helps, there is also a J shaped arm thats inbetween

  • MIKE: Not to be a pest; why then are the 1200s the weapon of choice.

  • its like anything in life, its up to your own personal preferences. Some people prefer the 1210s, some the ttx's some the vestax.. all are quality decks. I have a 1210 mk2 myself and I prefer the vestax

  • Vestax PDX's are better for scratching, mainly due to increased torque. Make sure you get one of the later models as the earlier ones had some feedback issues. Technics are more hardwearing, better build quality but are lacking in some features (ultra pitch!). They also have less torque.

  • hey man ..,

could you make a video on how to scratch on virtual DJ software?

  • ill! good look wit this man.

  • nice lesson

    helped alot

    i got the same deck as you.....:}

  • everyones entitled to their own opinion, so I'm not to fussed if people think its pathetic or not. But I'm glad you learned something juzzy!

  • um fuck off doom lol

  • thanks for the vid mate.

    just a quick question.

im new to scratching and just wonderin where you position your low mid bass for a good scratching sound?

  • different eq for different sounds really, for the classic ahh lower the bass

  • what is the name of those records?

  • thats me told like.

  • keep it up mate. your fucking flying with it.

  • not flying with out, just being my own delusional self... you heard of that other new scratch? Its call Sarcasm Is The Lowest Form Of Wit skratch

    :D

  • the best bit was the little story about how the scratch was invented. it gave me a lot of insight. u seen that mental new scratch thats just been invented? it,ll be on youtube somewhere. its called the delusional paraphraser scratch.

  • im just lost for words mate. are you really being serious here or are you making a joke out of us that we,ll never get?

  • I havnt heard of the delusional paraphraser scratch... sorry if you think I'm delusional or a umm paraphraser. A lot of people actually found this useful and have subscribed. But if you think its a bust I might as well not do nowt else ever again and live in a hole.

    Then again maybes not!

  • fucks sake. middlemast its gotta be said. you continue to shock and amaze me.

  • In a good way or a bad way ? :D

  • where'd you get tha turntables?///if i should get one, where would be the best place to get one?

  • If you dont have a store that sells dj equipment near you then try some online dj stores, just google in the deck you want and compare some prices.

  • wat sample viny lis dat ?

  • that vinyl is a breaks/skratch record by Mr Dibbs

  • It sounded like something from South Park.

  • Awesome video. I was looking at buying the Stanton smx 501 mixer. Have you ever used an effects unit with this mixer? This was a great tutorial about scratching. Thanks man, it give me a place to start.

  • Thanks for your reply johngr, the fx loops on this mixer are surprisingly good, each channel has it own fx button to feed the fx thru that particular channel. It also has both send and return volume controls. I've tried a Kaos Pad thru the fx loop and it works fine. Thanks again for checking the video, there will be more tutorials to come
