I remember seeing a repeat of that "Step by Step" episode being promoted in the voice-over. It was one of Sacha Mitchell's last great "Cody" episodes. It just so happens that I ALSO remember seeing the "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" episode promoted here. Mark Curry played a dual role, as the narrator said, and it is always so cool to see actors playing dual roles.
Does anyone remember something odd? Seems like frequently in 1995, they'd use the instrumental version of the '84 theme for the closing, though still using the satin sheets visuals. Wonder what that was about.
Only people in your market would remember it specifically. Many ABC affiliates would use archived tracks of the respective show's themes to dub over network voiceovers when they didn't want them aired..usually this was when a primetime program was being pre-empted by a local offering.
No, it wasn't. I already have the last closing from November 17, 1995 attached to this one as video response. It's listed everywhere that this sequence was retired on November 17, 1995 and the came on Monday, November 20, 1995.
I MISS THE 90S!!

Is there any way to find a complete version of this song? I always thought this one was the best.

Is the entire closing song available anywhere? This was always my favorite.
