For all those wanting to become paramedics, be aware of the shitty pay. If you truley want to become a paramedic, go on to get your RN license after that and specialize in something when you become a nurse. Other than that paramedics don't make shit! I could go to a 1 year technical school and make more money than a medic! Look at wind technology! Now there is a booming industry!

Being an EMT Paramedic is something to look at.

I'm going to college to become and EMTP.

You can google how much they get paid a year.

It's about 30-40,000$ a year. :)

And about $1,600 a month.

@x3Glennx3x3 paramedics deserve more money, its bullshit what fire police and ems workers get....such a big help to society and they get paid an awful low amount

@KawaRider88 I know, right? It kinda pisses me off, but I think I'd actually like doing this for a living. Who knows, maybe one day someone will lighten up and see they deserve more and raise the amount.
