  • FUCK ALL YOU POLITICIANS. YOU'RE ALL WANKERS WHAT OUGHT TO BE SHOT THEN RAMMED UP U'R ARSEHOLES WITH A HOT POKER.

  • Fuck Scotland

  • 1 in 5 Scots live in poverty?? In 2012 .. wtf?!!

  • FUCK ENGLAND .. THEM TWATS.

  • SCOTLAND MUST UNITE WITH WALES & IRELAND! FUCK GB!

  • Tony Blair - Whore of the Rothschilds. Go get yerself fucked in the arse.

  • SCOTLAND RISING!

  • Fuck scotland nobody likes you anyway.

  • @smokncandy1992 Nice try from your stupid CIA troll-base. lol

  • Folks in Scotland need not worry about the English ruling their country for much longer. The English are 100% bankrupt as they have a GDP to debt ratio of approx. 1000%. The only growth industry in England is financial fraud! It is a matter of time before England defaults!

On another note...many countries & people around the world are beginning to despise the English due to their massive financial fraud (via derivatives) and war crime around the world! Soon England will have few allies!

  • why worry about the gap when everyone is doing a shitload better one day the poorest people will have Iphones and flat screens and they will still scream about income inequality

  • I'm American and I think it would be fantastic to see Scotland entirely free. Then we can see what happens next.

  • @JosephStalin11 Fuck america and Fuck scotland

  • @smokncandy1992 Nice try. CIA troll. stupid ass

  • Freedom for Scotland!

  • @angelignacioalvarez Scotland is already free just not independent. and all they plan on doing is becoming independent from the UK to be dependent on the EU.

  • @BennyJonesPhoto Ever heard of devolution? It's pretty much what you said. Scotland had it's own Parliament, making most of the decisions for Scotland.

  • Being English & a supporter of the Labour Party,I can understand some of the feelings in Scotland.Under Tory governments,Scotland has had the raw deal (just like much of the rest of the UK !) Yet Scotland has not voted Tory in any significant numbers for decades. Therefore the SNP seems to be a way of avoiding Tory government in Scotland. But becoming Independent is NOT the best answer. SNP, Labour, Plaid Cymru & any other parties who opposed this Tory government should unit to defeat the Tories.

  • My view: it might just be the case that the SNP are the good guys (keeping student grants, good health care...etc) just until they get more power... and then? Who knows. At the end of the day they're all politicians...

The UK will be stronger than England or Scotland alone. In the end if we breakup, a France and Germany run EU will swallow us both up.

A vote for independence is a vote for dependence on the EU. There is no option for independence in the 21st century... remember that.

  • Free Scotland ! Bastards!

  • Free Scotland, enslave yourself from those which seek to spread tyranny in your land

  • Fuck the queen she's a fucking english tourist attraction!! And fuck england!! England is a drain on scottish society!! Scottish referendum is the way 2 go!! SNP!!

  • @o0Gmanji0o Just think that if you do break away, all the money that you get from England will stop.

  • Comment removed

  • @AeroAtlas Since when? I dont know if ya know, but England payed off Scotland's debts after the great Scottish empire fell (which consisted of a few ships) in return to be one country.

  • @MrAl3x0o My bad I was really tired when I wrote that. I have no idea what I meant by that lol. Sorry :)

  • @o0Gmanji0o Fortunately, she's a tourist attraction that brings in a massive amount of money to the UK.

  • I understand all the arguments. Im swedish, and if somebody enslaved my country

i will fight to the bitter end for my country.

Let the scots free. They have fought for a long time, and deserve their freedom.

Anybody that say something else can bite my axe.. Vikings been in scotland before the picts.. I stand by them any day..

  • I also see the english point of view. But i still think the scots have earned their right

to be self suffi... (dont know the word).. Leave them to fend for them selves..

Dont claim land in vast areas you dont visit.. The scots love their bare fells..

    Give it to them now!!

Same with Northern Ireland. What the fuck is the quarrel about?

Give the land back to the people.

Let the people that likes England move, and give the land back to the people the died for it...

  • @o0Gmanji0o HA Good luck with the problems WE used to deal for you.

  • i love how he said `` like Ireland ` and like``Iceland` you faggot those countries are now fucking BROKE and collapsed with debt because of the EU

  • Breaking away from Britain? how ridiculous, im 100% Edinburgh born Scot but i love the union and being British ,in a time when we as Christians on the same island are under threat from islamic takeover. mass immigration and the EU as a whole, you wanna break us to be a weaker entity ? well we are all British north and south of the border we share many common Christians values, please focus on the real threats and stop trying to weaken Britain as a whole. god save the queen!

  • shut up ya stupid scottish vassals

    scotland is england

  • Comment removed

  • Many scots said it's been 300 wasted years

  • To be honest if Scotland wants to be independent it should be. It suits everyone. The Scots get freedom and their own national identity and the English get to be seen as English rather than British. Also Scotland actually costs the UK money so it would benefit the rest of the country. And just to point something about myself before some hate comments are posted, I may be English but I'm very proud of my Scottish ancestors.

  • @1gazary - the English people must feel that their government pays no heed to their voice , if they feel like that then try to imagine how it feels being Scottish and constantly having governments that don't represent your votes at all , we have a condem government that we didn't vote for or want , independence will bring our people democracy , hallelujah !! :)

  • @1gazary - Scotland has hundreds of thousands of English people living here , they are welcome and for the most part are very friendly . Now independence is not about England and Scotland , it's about Scotland leaving the UK , a countries people should have a strong voice in how it's run .....

  • She is the Queen of the United Kingdom. I am a English man but love England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland they are all my home and i love all the people in them don't destroy something that works so well. And i do believe that they said on the news that Mr Salmond would like to share armed forces. God Bless the United Kingdom and the people in it. God Save Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Second, Queen of the United Kingdom. I think some people on here are rude.

  • @lloydwood8 Well said.

  • @lloydwood8 But it DOESN'T work well - thats the problem. If it does then why are men dying 25 YEARS - TWENTY FIVE FUCKING YEARS earlier in Glasgow than Buckinghamshire!! This is CLEARLY WRONG when you condier Scotland pumps more OIL than Kuwait yet we suffer in poverty.. WHY?? ENGLAND IS WHY.. ENGLAND IS UNDERTAKING THE RAPE AND ECONOMIC GENOCIDE OF SCOTLAND. One day we WILL be free - the TRUTH will be known and a RECKONING WILL BE REQUIRED!!!

  • FREE SCOTLAND

  • Us irish won our indepedence its time our brothers in scotland where free 2!

  • @Rooters11 - don't assume everyone in Scotland share the same views , there are very different regional opinions regarding independence , also religion plays no part in most Scots lives , many it does but in my experience most don't care . Also Northern Scotland tends to support independence and the central belt and especially Glasgow don't seem keen , mind you these are my own thoughts :) Saor Alba , btw not anti English just pro Scottish , I wish you well

  • This is not my experience of Scotland, as an Englishmen living here for 15 years I often ask Scottish folk who are my friends what their opinion is. Most seem to suggest Scotland is a majority of Protestent and staunch UK supporters who wish to keep the union.

  • @mansfra - oh and get a grip for goodness sake , that was a real daft thing to say

  • @mansfra - we might be invaded by India , china or Russia ?! I think if they want to then we are fucked then , so why bother ??

  • Most Scots in my view want Independence the English should be less worried about Scotland wanting freedom from the Union & be more concerned with the UK breaking free from the EU the biggest worry for the current UK , we(UK) are handing Billions to the EU WHY ? if we dont concentrate on this evil it will suck us in & Homogonise us. There is already an EU police force that has the power to go into any country in the EU this includes UK and their power overides UK Law. Thats worrying to me.

  • @Azureecosse I heard about that man, that is a fucking scary thought!!!

  • It's not cool to hangout with Britain, which is no longer superpower, anymore...

  • @lloydwood8 who says anything about sharing military bases ? Have you seen the Irish military ? I think they don't even have a helicopter , they didn't have anyway . How often since becoming free of the UK have they been invaded or had any military aggression ? We don't need military like England does , we don't want to interfere all over the world . A small military would do us , Saor Alba

  • @WildJockMcNasty , the fact that Europe has been in peace for 66 years doesn't mean that we cannot have wars in future, all the emerging powers (China, India, Russia etc) are making huge investment in weapons...

  • Your very rude i think your speech is very offensive. Scotland will remain part of the United Kingdom. and how can you say if you did become independent that you would share military bases and military resources, that to me does not seem independent.

God Bless The united Kingdom. God Save Her Majesty The Queen.

  • No to independent Scotland. God Bless The United Kingdom. God Save Her Majesty The Queen.

  • @lloydwood8 your queen can go suck my dick.

  • @lloydwood8 Are you no forgetting she is the queen of England. We are constantly told this by the unionist media.

  • No to independent Scotland. God Bless The United Kingdom. God Save Her Majesty The Queen.

  • @easy1355 - you are missing our point too , I don't dislike England , I love Scotland , I want MY country to be free , your comments have an underlying taint of racism , Ireland and Iceland were doing well until the global recession hit hard , lessons learned by every country , Salmond was right to use them as an example at the time he did ! The USA banks fuck it for the whole world and these developing economies suffered most , lessons learned by all , why would that happen to Scotland ?

  • @easy1355 - what's up Englishman ? You really dislike us for wanting independence ? How we survive after is OUR business , divorcing ourselves from a prissy wee country who still believes it's important will do for me , UK is broke - not a pot to piss in . Your comments say you want us out but underlying messages say you hate the thought of it - go to therapy , get your head straight !

  • FUCK YOU U.K.

    FREEDOM TO SCOTLAND!!!

  • @marianostpc We are all on the same island for christ sake, we are much stronger united. Ever heard of the phrase "United we stand, Divided we fall"? Splitting up will just make us all weaker.

  • @easy1355 - what's up with you ? I feel resentment tossers us Scots from you , very bitter , why not wish us well , we are a race that not only has put out fair share into the union but basically has been the backbone of your capital city London for the whole union , we made London for you , we policed it when local bobbies couldn't be trusted , we payed our dues tenfold , now many of us want independence , don't be frightened , you will be ok without us , probably

  • @WildJockMcNasty lol, your post is hillarious

Actually, your quite correct, some English people are frightened of the Union dissolving, where as I know, that i will be better off, in my tax's and wealth..

But, this does mean that Scotland, will become dependant on depleting oil supplies, that's of course, if England agrees its yours

So, don't worry, England will be richer, and I will be campaigning for FULL Scottish independence

I am south of the border, I have nothing to worry about.

  • Scotland free???why???

    ``POLITICS`` all the same worldwide...........

    Anything will be change......

  • And don't listen to rubbish from the media regarding passports to get into England or crap about defending us or our military , who do we need defending from ???

    Don't be anti English , this isn't about them , it's about us !

I hope we make it but first we need convinced we CAN

  • C'mon Scotland ! Now is your time to shine , I hope the SNP can come up with the plans , facts and figures that support independence , that's the only thing that will win independence , have the biggest business behind you and bombard us with info , it's the only way , let's get the weedgies in side too , let's not be afraid and go forward into a glorious future together , national identity well and truly restored :)

  • Scottish republic!

  • go you can keep our gordon browns labour policy is to spoil scotland as it had a lot of scottish MPs in westminster and wants to keep them!

the french own british gas now lol!

  • why not let the uk have a referendum on scottish independence, you would win hands down,59 per cent in a poll in england said they dont want scotland in the union, just google it

  • Please, Scotland go independent. I don't want any of my English Tax's going to Scotland which it does

But, how stupid, relying on a running out Oil industry. And what made me laugh even more he used Iceland and Ireland as examples of Scottish independence, lol

And even the best estimates show only 25 -35 years of oil left!

Anyway, let's hope they get independence, and don't come running back the England when your economy collapses, which it will!

Long live England.. as it will (stronger)

  • @easy1355 don't be bitter ' it just make's you look like a sad little englander

  • @MrStewart149 Ah, you see the mistake you made there... I am not bitter.

And, really, I couldn't be a 'little' Englander, as I am part of a country that generates about 90% of all the UK's wealth..

But, listen, me and you will be campaigning for the same thing.. FULL Scottish independence.. You no longer want to be ruled by London, and I no longer want to be paying for you.. Shame that a far majority of Scots don't want independence.

See, we ended up on the same side..... 'wonderful'

  • Scotland; soon to be the 7th richest country in the world bye bye UK say bye bye to our oil!

  • @mrkjames9 mmm, depleting oil supplies, subsidies from England..

Hey, you will end up just as rich as Ireland and Iceland, wow.. lol, I seem to remember mr salmond saying this... am I wrong..

I really shouldn't take the mick out of you, but it's so easy...

  • Bye Bye Scotland, I hope, embarrassing to our nation, ungrateful bastards.

  • @codownni Exactly what should we be grateful for?

  • 8:58

Did he just say Ireland was successful?

    Epic fail.

Just goes to show - the SNP have all the foresight of a haggis.

  • In 1707 Scots rioted in the streets against the so called union which was set up after members of the Scottish Parliament took bribes from England and sold out their country in the most disgusting sell out in the history of the world. In the words of the vast majority of Scots in 1707 "NO UNION, NO UNION, NO UNION"

  • @MrSPECTRUM7

OOP'S.. the Union is something that Scotland had to accept.. Scotland should not be allowed in the union, it's a real shame that a far majority of scot's wont vote for independence. I would rather them forced out..

But, alas, you would have been just like Iceland and ireland, and other failed states, without England.

We English need to force you out, England would be richer, and it's tax payers not paying for the useless country north of it's borders.

  • @easy1355 Like most people North and South of the border you are an obvious uneducated MORON.

Scotland has contributed a TRILLION DOLLARS in oil revenue. We make multi millions from the export of WHISKY and TIMBER. For the last twenty years I have asked people in England who are supposed to be educated what industry does England make money from. THEY DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER.

  • @MrSPECTRUM7 hahaha.. I am just laughing at your stupidity, because of course, if you are telling me your sole reliance will be on whisky and depleting oil supplies, and remember, England hasn't told you it's yours yet.. then you lot are in serious trouble

We didn't just bail out our own banks south of the border, but also yours. and it's the Finance industry, which puts London on the same economic line as NY or any other world institution

but, we agree, scots, bye bye

    Now, where's my banner?

  • give me a shout

not been in my homeland since 79

    be cool

  • lÔl_ÁNÿÓÑÉ_wáÑnÁ_chat_wìth_mè_Î_fêêl_sö_lÓÑêlÿ_tóÐáÿ┘

  • Alex salmond said the world is favouring small countries like Ireland, iceland and Norway, he has been found out to be talking rubbish after the collapse of Ireland, iceland, and greece's economies. Its funny how he has stoped talking about ireland and iceland now. This all proves that Alex salmond's head is in the clouds and is not in touch with reality. he loves to use cheesy cliches on a par with fictitious movies and his thinking has been proven to be flawed.

  • @NumberDne irelands economy enters recession in the middle of a worldwide economic downturn and requires an eu bailout. economies boom and bust, see the great depression or the uk calling in the imf in the 70's. thats no arguement against the long term principals/proposals in the video. recessions come and go.

  • @HLecterPHD Dude there is a big difference between a country going into recession but still in control of its currency and the situation in which Ireland is in now. They cannot devalue to boost exports and the EU is coming very close to harmonizing corperate tax rates across the bloc. on top of that it is being reported that ireland will need another 25 billion euros on top of the original bailout.

  • @HLecterPHD Do you think the EU could bully the big countries like this? No. The EU sweet talked Ireland just to get them to vote for the Lisbon treaty ...aaagain, and to vote the way they wanted Ireland to vote the second time. Now that the lisbon treaty is passed, they couldnt care less what happens to Ireland so they are now going after Ireland's corperate tax. Germany and France want the companies in Ireland to set up in Germany and France instead. Small countries geting bullied as usual.

  • LIBERTAD PARA LOS ESCOCESES!

  • @03Terrestre

I suppose you want Gibraltar as well.

Shut the fuck up you nonce.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Funny you should say, but of course I want Gibraltar returned to its rightful owners, Spain. FREE SCOTLAND! GIBRALTAR BACK TO SPAIN!

  • @03Terrestre

But you just contradicted your entire argument. 97% of the people of Gibraltar want to remain INDEPENDENT from Spain and UNITED with Britain. Gibraltar IS FREE.

(btw a large proportion of that 3% is thought to be mistakes on the ballot papers).

Spain are hypocrites. How can they lay claim to Gibraltar when they cling on to Ceuta and Melilla? What makes this any different?

The people of Gibraltar say they would rather be independent from Spain AND Britain than be part of Spain!

  • @03Terrestre

So I'll think you find that Spain is certainly NOT the "rightful owner" of Gibraltar.

Just because you owned it once doesn't mean Spain has any right to it now. Napoleon once owned Spain. There aren't plans to return Spain to France, are there?

The people of Gibraltar want to remain free, and Spain is completely hypocritical because holds on to two identical enclaves in Africa.

Their argument is dead in the water.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 No matter, it still belongs to Spain. Eventually Spain will take over and if that signifies by force or war with England so be it. Not only does Ceuta and Melilla belong to Spain, so does all of Morroco and Western Sahara! France owned England once too but in that case it's OK for England to have gotten it's independence. Spain owned parts of Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany too but they deserve their independence also.

  • @03Terrestre

    You fucking hypocrite!

How can you stand there and argue that the Scots should get independence and at the same time Gibraltar should be enslaved by Spain, when 97% of the people of Gibraltar want to remain under British rule?!

NO, Morroco does NOT belong to Spain - keep fantasising mate.

Gibraltar belongs to Britain in the same way Ceuta and and Melilla belong to Spain, and it will NEVER be returned unless the people of Gibraltar democratically vote to return WHICH THEY NEVER WILL

  • @03Terrestre

Basically what you are saying is that it's OK for Scotland to be free to choose it's own destiny, but it's not OK for Gibraltar to choose it's own destiny!

So basically, you believe that people should be free to choose only when its convnient to criticise Britain (or more accurately England).

    Lets face it, Britain rules!

Gibraltar will never be returned, and in the current economic climate, it's unlikely that Scotland will even WANT to become independent.

    FAIL.

  • @03Terrestre

Spain has about as much claim to Morroco and the Western Sahara as Britain does to India or the Suez Canal.

    The Empires are over.

Today people democratically choose their destiny, and the people of Gibraltar overwhelmingly choose not to be united with Spain, indeed, polls indicate the people of Gibraltar would rather be completely independent than become united with Spain.

Spain has no legitimate claim to Gibraltar. Get over it - it won't be given back.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Wrong, Spaniards and Arabs have been in Northwest Africa around the same time and therefore are equally qualified, it all depends on who can hold on to that sparcely populated land with more strength. India is a proud nation older than England, so is Egypt. You cannot compare them equally. Mark my words, Gibraltar will return to Spain eventually, and if Spain does it by force, then the rebellious Gibraltarians will have to pay the price.

  • @03Terrestre

How can you call the Gibraltarians "rebellious" and still support Scottish independence? Do you have any ideals AT ALL?? All you are doing is supporting anything that will damage Britain. PATHETIC

We're SUPPOSED to be allies. Both in the EU. Where would Spain be if we hadn't won the Peninsular War for them??

We will fight and win freedom for Gibraltar. Spain has no right to rule over people without their consent - that goes for Morroco too. People should be allowed to choose.

  • @03Terrestre

    And another thing...

I think Spain has about as much chance of winning a war against Britain as your latin cousins - the Argentinians.

You attack, and we will kick your arse!

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Hahahaha, England got help from Brazil, Chile, the U.S. and many other countries, I heard from an expert that a second Argentine invasion could not be repelled by England. Times have changed and it doesn't look good for England. One of the supposed reason England got all that help, was because Argentina at the time, was a dictatorship. well lots of things have changed since.

  • @03Terrestre

Guess what, mate. We have one thing that neither you, nor Argentina have.

    It's called Trident.

Recently released documents reveal that Thatcher positioned Trident submarines within striking distance of key Argentinian targets, to be used in the event that the British forces were repelled.

Face it, militarily WE OWN. If you ever used force against us, I give it ONE WEEK before the Coldstream Guards are marching into Madrid.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Bullshit, Spain has too many alies, for one Mexico would never permit our Hispanic sister nation to be violated in that manner! We Hispanic nations have gotten more powerful while England has gotten weaker.

  • @03Terrestre

    TRIDENT

  • @BasilFawlty4444 By the way Spain has submarines too, so, what the fuck?

  • @03Terrestre

I'm not just talking about submarines, mate.

I'm talking about bloody big mushroom clouds.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Spain can split the atom too, no mistery for Spain. Spain is not like those Arab countries.

  • @03Terrestre

The fact of the matter is, if you ever tried to recapture Gibraltar, YOU would be the aggressor, YOU would be fighting against the ability of a people to rule themselves and choose their own destiny.

Not only is it very likely that you would lose, but the UN would oppose the oppression of a people.

eg Korea, Bosnia, and today in Libya.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Gibraltar will fall one way or another, sooner or later.

  • @03Terrestre

I seriously doubt that until the people of Gibraltar vote to cecede from Britain, that it will happen.

The British government does not make changes concerning governance without first consulting the people.

As support for unity with Britain is still VERY strong amongst the people of Gibraltar, it seems extremely unlikely that they will vote for this any time soon. The memories of Franco are too strong.

    Maybe a century... maybe two.

    Probably never.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 When England declines in power as it keeps on doing, it will have no choice but to concede.

  • @03Terrestre

Excuse me, exactly HOW is BRITAIN (not England) declining in power?

With more Eurofighters than any other European country, one of only two European nuclear armed states, and with two supercarriers on order, it seems that by 2020 Britain will be one of the best equiped naval powers in the world, let alone in Europe.

As it stands TODAY, only the US Navy can project more power than the Royal Navy, and it is one of only a few Blue Water navies. Gibraltar will be EASILY defended.

  • @03Terrestre

You don't really have an argument against that, do you?

    ;)

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Hehehe, sorry, you caught me eating, hold on. : )

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Well must have been the meal that brought down my agressive defence hehehe, but yeah England is still a force to recon with. Say, you said Britain was one of only two nuclear armed states in Eurpoe, who's the other?

  • @03Terrestre

    France

  • @BasilFawlty4444 What about Russia?

  • @03Terrestre

    Not Europe.

Although technically part of their country is on the European tectonic plate, they certainly don't think of themselves as European, and they are not in the EU.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 I know they don't belong to the European Union but they are a European nation nontheless.

  • @03Terrestre

fair enough, I suppose a good proportion of Russia - including Moscow - is physically in Europe.

Remeber though, more than half of their country is in Asia. I bet that's where they keep their nukes as well.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Yes, Russia will always be dangerous because of it's gigantic size, the largest nation on the face of the Earth!

  • @03Terrestre

England has never been successfully invaded since 1066, so FAIL at the argument that France once owned Britain.

  • @03Terrestre

Oh, and you clearly know nothing about history because France NEVER owned England, the Normans did. They were an entirely different race, and they later became entirely naturalised to the extent that the English of today are not the English that existed when the Normans invaded, but a mixure of Norman and Angle blood.

    Normans are not French.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 I rest my case, Normans are related to the French to the point of being practically the same people. English was a very different language before it was latinized when the French cousins, the Normans owned England.

  • @03Terrestre

The Normans were actually nothing like the French when you look at it closely.

After England was secured, they abandoned Normandy, and the result is the powerful and prosperous nation that you see today.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Hahahahaha, take a close look at your language, LATINIZED TO A VERY DIFFERENT LANGUAGE! That shows how those Latin people , the Normans, modified you, while England was owned by them!

  • @03Terrestre

What has language got to do with it?

We were never OWNED by France. EVER.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 THE FRENCH OWNED ENGLAND!

  • @03Terrestre

Many historians have pointed out that it is only convenient to see the Normans as French for the sake of an argument.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 The French came in with their latin language and latinized England and English.

  • @03Terrestre

We were taught Spanish and German at school.

I guarantee that English is more similar to German than to Spanish.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Yes, you have no argument from me on that point, English is a Germanic language but it is the most latinized of the Germanic languages, because of the Normans.

  • actually is scotland wants out of the union, then let them go. I don't see many English bothered by it

  • Thig ar Latha, Our day will come. VOTE SNP.

  • tbh i couldnt care less what scotland does, with an independent scotland we would save money.

  • @SamsSpaghetti

Is that maybe because I dunno there is only 2 parties for Scottish Independence and eh I dunno no one in England would vote them. So Scots are stuck with either voting SNP and having English retards vote in the Tories again or voting Labour and hoping it sways the balance across the UK. Then you get screwed harder because the lib dems stab their voters in the back and allow the Tories to win anyway.

  • Life of brian quote... "What have the romans ever done for us?" springs to mind when it comes to the scottish.

  • 300 year old marige?

    Blood bathed married,.

Scots have been fucked so hard they have forget who they are

  • Pride goeth before the Fall......

  • Scotland voted YES to independence in 1979 but a one time and one time ONLY stipulation from the then Tory government oppressed Scotland's answer and has kept us in the union against our will.

    The results:

    Yes: 1,230,937

    No: 1,153,500

  • @albabhoy81

Scotland also voted yes to desolving the union by a small margin not long after the union was passed as well.

So Scotland has only had the chance to vote twice in 300 years and both times they said yes. The UK is so diplomatic.

  • i wish all scots wanted to be independent. PLEASE!!!, when you get the chance "vote for an independent scotland", we English can not vote for an Independent England because our govenerment will not let us!!!!.. all i ask of you scots is that you do it totally..ie.(1)..pay you oun way..(2). remain friends with England.. (3). issue new scotish passports.(4)..don't call yourself British..(5).. don't work or live in England, unless you are asked too. good luck to scotland.and good bye!!..

  • England: the first country to give birth to the amazing water-walking woman!

  • I don't understand how the Scots can live in the same country as these english jackasses

  • @Treyppa wtf do you know about anything? you come from the land of snail eating white flag waving pussies.

  • It says in this 35% of N. Brits want independence that has rapidly dicreased to 12%

  • @mrscotishjamie, where did you get your information from, our oil will last till 2050

get yer facts right, you must be an england lover

  • The English look very weak as a nation...only country in Europe with no parliament of it's own AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! PATHETIC!

  • Malusregnum eats Spotted Dicks, he is typical of Engaylish people...

  • Engaylish are the slags/sluts of Europe, they will be lambs to the slaughter to Europe broke into 9 regions, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

The Engaylish wont even vote their own parliament, they stink of fear...

  • @JohnMD2K As for the EU, that isn't anything to do with Scottish independence, we are already partly in the union, Scotland leaving the useless UK, would be leaving one of these unions, and it's doubtful Scotland will want to stay in the EU either, they'll make do like Norway and be fully independent as the Euro is a useless currency, so Scotland will issue it's own currency, much like Norway has with the Kroner.

  • @JohnMD2K The reason Scotland has these problems you list, is because of unionism and a hung parliament.

With full SNP rule, it would be much more prosperous, the only real people who doubt SNP are the unionists, and they are a dying breed.

England will make more because they need more, they have a higher population, the higher the population, the more it costs to run the nation.

Scotland is not swarming and overcrowded with immigrants so therefore the SNP can afford to put the Scots first.

  • @JohnMD2K The SNP have done really well considering that they have only had minority goverment status so far, and things have definitely improved with SNP rule (despite it not being FULL SNP rule)

the referendum hasn't happened yet because it would have just got blocked by the unionist Labour party at the time they were in power, so it had to be shifted to the next year.

The Scottish elections aren't due till May 5th.

It's Labour who are trying to enforce cuts, SNP are trying to stop cuts.

  • Theres been Labour politicians running Scotland for 50-60 years, and whats changed! nothing they've had their time, its time for independence!

  • I'm English but I believe Scotland should have the right to its independence if that's what the people want, same goes for Wales. Northern Ireland was already given that choice in the 1920's, when they were allowed to leave with the Republic and then allowed to come back. Scotland should be allowed to have the rights N.Ireland had.

  • @Burbridge92

It's a shame so many of your countrymen give your country a bad name. You're right it's up to the nationals of the country to decide what happens to there nation and no one else.

  • successsful like ireland?

  • successsful like ireland?

  • That's why I wish Scottland would go fully on their own, as well as Irish (those who are still in UK), Basks from Spain, Flemmish and others who need it.

  • @oporim True words, agreed.

All countries should govern themselves 100%, it's only right.

  • @JadenCrl - Whit ir ye whinging aboot? It wid be tae yer ane guid gien Scotland back wur freedom 'n it's aboot time 'n aw!!! I hope you can understand the statement above, if not, then it will show you that Scotland's independence isn't only an economic or political matter, but a cultural one as well. You shouldn't be afraid when we get our independence, you should be happy! I expect you have been waiting for someone to reply to your post. Well, enjoy.
