Can someone confirm that if I have no web connection, this app will still work?
I heard people talking about how this, syncs with the online version of gmail/tasks. So can this work standalone or is just a mobile-version of the online site.
@RobertWayneColburn : yeah we need high bandwidth to get this working well. But after all its a good way to have your tasks organized, software independent access to them wherever or whatever device you are on.
agreed. i use this as it synchs with the gmail data. advantage? even if i don't have connection i can still work on the list. when my phone reconnects with the network, it'll synch.
Sorry, paper rules in simplicity. Right when I heard "keep several different lists (excitingly)" I immediately saw that paper pile of clutter on the desk, however, that clutter is then reinvented for the iphone/brain. Fail. Sorry, try again.
Um what the !@#$ are you talking about? Google tasks is probably one of the simplest but most organized "simple" list applications you can use. There's no clutter piling up on your phone.
I never have tried this on my phone.

The icon sucks.
Is there a way to change the icon?

It is Not that smooth.
Pro: Syncs with Gmail
Con: The GMail header (now shown)
Slow Start time (load time now shown)
Small checkbox hit area.
GMail folk - see other ToDo apps, ex:"Do It Tomorrow".

Anyone know if iPhone remembers your password each time you open Google Tasks this way? Or do you have to type it in every time.

Nice "Office Spaces" references!
This is why I like Google; billion dollar company, but still a sense of humor.
