A. yeah it could by replicated by percussion and keyboard. I know that some of the people who make electronic music may be able to write music well but writing it is only half the battle. For it to be good it should also be performed well which means not using computers as a shortcut to make it easier to perform.
For the record I'd rather listen to a good electronic composition that instrumental stuff like John Mayer and modern "punk" music. I like all forms of music...my favorite form of music is progressive rock which happens to be the most challenging musically of any genre in "rock"...12 string guitars, multi-string basses 40 piece drum kits and dudes who can stretch them to the limit

A. yeah it could by replicated by percussion and keyboard. I know that some of the people who make electronic music may be able to write music well but writing it is only half the battle. For it to be good it should also be performed well which means not using computers as a shortcut to make it easier to perform.

For the record I'd rather listen to a good electronic composition that instrumental stuff like John Mayer and modern "punk" music. I like all forms of music...my favorite form of music is progressive rock which happens to be the most challenging musically of any genre in "rock"...12 string guitars, multi-string basses 40 piece drum kits and dudes who can stretch them to the limit

I had to get drunk to dance to shit like this in 1995. It wasn't good then, and it has NO EXCUSE now.
Basshunter is just like a poo that has floated all night in the toilet, and broken up a bit, and stunk out the whole house.

Basshunter isn't quality techno. There is barely any bassline and it sounds poppy instead of electronic. I suggest you should all try listening to some real electronic music like Trance, Hardstyle, or House from artists such as Deadmau5, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Noisecontrollers, and DJ Zany. I'm not saying that Basshunter sucks completely I'm just saying you guys all need to start listening to better things within the electronic music genre to get a taste of what real electronic music is like.
