Hey I'm a 16 year old male rock/power metal vocalist. I respect your falsify of teaching but I'm a student of Jaime Vendera and learned how to build my fullvoice from lowest note E1 and highest note saprano G#5 in fullvoice. It's not in my chest voice though. It sounds like your using phyringial voice on high notes but It sounds pretty full to me.
Sir, how do i high focus my tone as I get higher, while singing? I know I don't slip in falsetto when am going in head voice, because i can feel the chord closure and the pressure behind it; but my tone seems/ sounds to be a bit breathy (or lacking complete clarity).
@eloelo14 disagree... if you want for now you can focus on your vocal coordinations first, but u'll need to learn how to breath correctly to support your notes without using your throat muscles because that will kill your voice very quickly. your diaphragm support will help you to sing longer and controlled notes and so on... hope i was clear, greetings
so this applies ti regular singing as well? also, when you use your diaphragm, are you supposed to feel your voice in your throat? how can you get rid of that? sorry, I'm just very confused
@musicdork4ever Forget about breathing correct, at least just for now. I suppose ure a beginner right? I suggest u go look for videos on how to connect head and cheat voice. Theres 1 about connecting them with vocal fry. try that. after a while of vocal coordination practices, u can start building power( yes, by then when u have full control of ur voice, u can start singing with power.) It might get frustrating without a vocal coach, but thats how i started out. But i eventually went to one.
the loudest 'belt' you could get out of a mixed voice is still gonna draw disparity to a voice when compared to the loudest belt in pure chest. i find that 'balancing' the voice is then needed to make sure the whole range sounds as one voice. Many baritones and basses will have to do the same

I have the same problem, my "mix" is so quiet compared to full chest or full head voice. I can BELT in either, but the inbetween I am lacking in.
