I think the boogie boys were way ahead of their time which is why they were not more successful. Listern to the production and arrangement. Way ahead of their time.
I remember having my gramps take me to The Warehouse when i was 7, after listening to this new tape my uncle got, and buying this tape. I got home and was disspointed because I set out to buy The Beastie Boys but forgot the name of the group by the time I got to the store. Turned out being a good mistake. Nice post.
This brings back memories of listening to the Chuck Chill Out show where he would keep restarting the beginning of the song. Don't think I've ever heard the whole song before.
Boogie Boys had a couple of nice hits with some fat beats. Nice post man! Thanx
CLASSIC ........ Sure glad I kept all my " old skool " shit .... got all dem Boogie Boys joints ...... and this was one of the tracks i bumped back in tha day ...
bigboscoe: The golden yrs of hip hop think about this homie. I said to myself if Bambatta, Cool herc DID NOT!! create this art from what would we do?
