I have been to Crete, my dream place, 2 years ago... Am going back in July, and plan to spend couple of months there. I never met so many friendly, welcoming, fun, warmhearted people in the world. In fact, Cretan hospitality is well known. Now... we have to remember that the laws are clear: you receive what you give... if remig2 (down below) received the donkeys... imagine what she gave!!!!

Yes, maybe the island is nice, but there are greeks (cretans) which are unfriendly, dirty, stinking and stupid a lot. If u want nice holidays go somewhere else than to this greedy donkeys.
