It turned out really nice =). Just started transitioning (havent got a REAL perm since Dec '09 & got a touch-up in Feb.) I bought Quick Curls to try & do a wet-n-go look. Perm ends didnt cooperate & purchased the Knot Today since I heard so much about it. It really does detangle well. Havent purchased the gel because I think I might be buying too much for a beginner transitioner...

@Nat2Be Ya when I was transitioning I had less perm then you but I just brought the custard and used it. was ok but looked like a jerry curl because i used with oils and i didnt use the knot today. So i thought i wasted my money but it was ok later when i tryed it fully natural. Loved it! With the Quick Curls when you apply, scrunch you hair and clip with little clips i used in my videos and leave it in for like 5 minutes and take it out to create more curls. It really works. You can try the

@Nat2Be small size gel that's 17.99 instead of getting the big one. But before you get it see if the clipping method works 1st cause if not its a waste. And try the Quick Curls without the Knot Today because it kind of dilutes the product and its purpose. If you need a leave in try more of the liquid like leave ins like Carols Daughter, Jane Carter. Leave ins that arnt as concentrated like the Knot Today. More watery ones.
