  • Born Haber cycle? O shit, i need to get some baggage....

  • I am confused. How can I calculate the covalent radii of SiCl4 and PCl3. I added 102pm + 99pm = 217 pm for SiCl4 but I think this is wrong.

  • @wespin09 102 + 99 =/= 217

  • just how many elements need this octet bonding?

  • mit subscribes to pyrobooby

  • This professor is also geat whoops, great. :D

  • i kinda fell asleep around 7 miunutess xD

  • /sigh

I wish I went to MIT and had teachers like this guy.

  • cesium plus flurine equals awesome

  • I totally agree with his remark about the units, without them you don't see what you're doing. 2 x 3 is totally different from 2kg x 3m.

  • I LOVE CHEMISTRY.

I need to better understand Chemistry to learn about atoms. ect. ect.

  • can somoene explain me better at 22:20

    i dont quite understand that

  • he is still talking about the orbitals if u thought it was something else..the arrows represent electrons...

hope i m answering to ur question

  • CH4 for example...the central carbon atom has valence electrons in the 2s and 2p orbitals; however CH4 has 4 bonds of equal energy...in order to obtain 4 equal energy bonds, the S and P orbitals "hybridize"

  • @Hilke88 and this is still useless information!

  • awesome... thnx alot :D (^^)
