Why are you hating on randy lewis.... he is an Olympic Champion, and an NCAA champion. what have you ever done?

lets not forget, he won those Olympics because all the good countries boycotted. Almost everyone won a gold that year from the U.S.

And let's not forget we boycotted the '80 Olympics. Randy had very close matches with John Smith in the trials for the 88 (Randy almost 30 and Smith early 20's) games - losing 2 matches to 1. Now unless you've got some excuse as to why John Smith won the gold in '88 & '92 I think you have to realize Randy wrestled great. There is actually a lot of technique in his counters.

it is good to finally see that match after hearing aboutit years ago. Smith outwrestled him by a long shot.  I don't think Lewis even has a decent offensive shot. Counter,counter,counter, and throw in alittle stalling and a few tilts and he wins.
