My point was that he was the only open player, and it's not like he was gonna drive. There was 5 sec left and he had no choice. He had nothing to lose. Plus roy wasn't doing very well posting up on Thabeet that game and uconn was playin tight so that was their chance. I don't think you realize that big guys can shoot. Look at Dirk for example, he is an amazing shooter and he breaks the "big guy" mark.

Davidson is good. They almost beat duke as well as ucla and nc state. UNC is #1. Memphi$ and Kansas could make an argument for that spot. But the truth is until somebody knocks off UNC, they are #1.....And if you are a true college basketball fan you would know what kind of streak Roy Williams is on right now. He has 5 big time commits in the last 10 days. All 5 star players!
They do have some nice prospects coming in yet again. But Thompson III should be of concern because Georgetown had an overall Top 10 recruit class, and then they landed Monroe, the big fish, the hands down best big man(on paper anyway). GU filled Hibbert's shoes quickly.

so now youre discriminating because im a young buck?? 2-2 on three-pointers definitely doesn't give you justification to shoot it at the end of a tie game, especially when you're 7' FRIGGIN 2''. its stupid if you ask me. which would i rather have w/ the game on the line, roy posting up or roy jacking up 3s. definitely the former. at the very least, if someone else gets open, at least roy's in a position to rebound. btw, i have eyeballs; i can clearly see the defense was sagging up top. ur point?

My point was that he was the only open player, and it's not like he was gonna drive. There was 5 sec left and he had no choice. He had nothing to lose. Plus roy wasn't doing very well posting up on Thabeet that game and uconn was playin tight so that was their chance. I don't think you realize that big guys can shoot. Look at Dirk for example, he is an amazing shooter and he breaks the "big guy" mark.

trust me, i know dirk. my fav player out there right now. i guess my main problem isn't roy shooting (which is understandable given the circumstances), but my concern is that he's away from the basket. like i said earlier, even if he's not getting the ball on the play, at least he's a threat to get the putback.

He didn't catch it until his left foot was barely in the air, he then put his left foot down and moved his right foot. His left foot was the pivot foot, he can move it all he wanted to. No travel, and he shot that like he shoots it normally. Very tight.

Davidson is good. They almost beat duke as well as ucla and nc state. UNC is #1. Memphi$ and Kansas could make an argument for that spot. But the truth is until somebody knocks off UNC, they are #1.....And if you are a true college basketball fan you would know what kind of streak Roy Williams is on right now. They do have some nice prospects coming in yet again. But Thompson III should be of concern because Georgetown had an overall Top 10 recruit class, and then they landed Monroe, the big fish, the hands down best big man(on paper anyway). GU filled Hibbert's shoes quickly.
