  • Congrats TJ! Sweet William looks very happy:-)

  • As a soon to be veterinarian (June 2012) with a specific love of all things feline and feline medicine, just wanted to say that I appreciate the message that you guys are getting out there about cats, what amazing creatures they are and about adopting adult cats in need rather than going to breeders or pet stores. Congrats on your new addition TJ! And just out of curiosity, where did Zoey, Ginger and Oscar come from? I too have 3 kitties that are all rescues and wouldn't have it any other way!

  • @pooky625 All of my kitties were strays I found on the street. Zoey was so skinny when I found her, she didn't look like she would make it another 48 hours. I couldn't help but feed her, and she clearly wanted to follow me into my apartment so I adopted her. Best decision I ever made.

  • So glad she recovered! Keep up the great work!

  • How many offers of marriage have you fielded since this video?

  • ....Who could POSSIBLY dislike this video?!?!

  • Aww

  • the cat should be snake from metal gear solid in holloween :D with the eyepatch

  • There is a special place in heaven for you guys.

  • You know i LOVE kittens my cat damine was form the Ainmal ruscueleg so was my cat becket (ASCAP)

  • You two are good people! And I mean it.

  • I love watching your videos, and it's so awesome how you share your love of cats with the rest of us. I have a cat myself, and my sweetheart and I one day want to adopt another kitty and give it a good home. How is Sweet William doing?

  • Paul and T.J. - You guys are my Heroes, you know? Your videos make me smile when the world is crashing in on me and I am sure there are many of us who feel the same. Thanks so much for the entertaining videos.I haven't even scratched the surface, how many years have you been making videos? I couldnt find the 2nd Dorito Video. Is Williams fb page under "Sweet William"?

  • TJ--Sweet William is beautiful- but I would have taken Sebastian. He looks like my One Eyed t with no eye inside) Black Jack - except with two eyes (William's eye is closed- Jack's was open but w/no eye inside. I wish you could take both. Animal Control took my Jackie, I miss him every day. They little grey one looks like my Crookey- very sweet also...I hope the animals you show on You Tube get adopted. What is the name of the Lady's shelter?I hope the brown tabby finds a home,( I just found one.

  • Aw, I think you should get him used to wearing an eye patch, it will be funny! It could be part of his look!

  • My dad use to have that type of car when I was younger. Same colour too!

  • Volvo! Yay, You roll!

  • Hi - love watching your videos - you're so obviously very fond of our furry friends. I get mine from rescue centres too - my screen pic is Rosie, rescued from a gypsy site (kept holed up in a cardboard box, fed on bread and water - you can guess what state she was in when I got hert her!) My latest acquisition is DeeZee - a big black boy with 3 legs. He lopes along when walking, but boy, can he leg it if I need to catch him - including up and over a 7 foot fence. Keep up the good work chaps!

  • I loved this! I always get adults because kittens and puppies have a much better chance of getting adopted. I've even waited for a momma while she got her kittens weaned. Bella (kitty) and Tieg (doggie) are my darlings! Both rescues. I love your vids. I think this is the most I remember hearing TJ's voice. :)

  • I have four cats: all from rescue facilities. My Audie has one-eye also. Guys, you are great!! Had to pause this video though. I cry like a baby in shelters....So many cats...so much love...

  • That's great. I recently adopted a cat that was missing one of her back legs and no one was going to claim her. The second I saw her I knew I had to have her because she was so sweet.

  • That vid is nice and moving ! All the kitties were tremendously kind and cute but I would have chosen the one with the missing eye, too !

  • I loled at the squirrel. :D

I love how obvious it is that you guys love cats. It makes me smile for real while watching your videos. I hope a lot of kitties in that shelter found forever homes because of this video.

  • Thanks T.J. and Paul for showing those wonderful adult adoptable cats. I just talked to someone who purrrposely took home a much older feline (12yrs?) from a shelter. Thanks to these caring people who shelter them as well. P.S. Enjoy Sweet William T.J. P.P.S. Could you do an occasional "featured adult cat(s)" from the shelter udates?

  • Can i just say you both seem like awesome guys? I'm serious. I'd be happy in an old volvo if the guy driving it was as nice as you :)

  • I WOULD ADOPT ALL DOSE KITTYS!!!!!! LOVE 'EM

  • AWWW TJ GOT A KITTY!!! (said squeelie like!) What a handsome cat!!!

  • "Yarr"!

Sorry, I just had to let it out :)

  • KITTY!!!!!!

Thank you so much TJ for adopting. William will love you forever, and we do too!

  • I WANT SEBASTIAN!!!!

  • did jack ever get adopted?

  • I know that the place may not seem like much, but I have volunteered for shelters, and the number of healthy, friendly, adoptable cats there speaks volumes about the staff. You couldn't go anywhere without a cat loving on you! I also really appreciate you pointing out how you would feel bad adopting a kitten as they find homes SO fast. It is true, and I think kids should get to experience a kitten. But, when it comes to a new cat, adopting from a shelter and choosing an adult is always the way

  • I wonder how William lost his eye poor thing. TJ and Paul did they tell you? I would like to find out.

  • Zoey, Oscar, Ginger, and William should all be on 1 YouTube show all together and should have a kitty play date!!!!!

  • You guys are amazing.

  • You guys are great. What a wonderful message. I have four kitties and they are *all* rescues and they are all perfect too!

  • Which one has the loud motor?? That's crazy! I volunteer at an animal shelter... it's so wonderful when the cats finally get their forever home. Sometimes it takes a while though...

  • That's just the cutest thing. :))

  • William is actually a beautiful cat.

  • TJ TALKS!!! Forget about Garbo... Kidding aside, this is beautiful, and though I'm a 51-year-old man, I tear-up a little at the sight of all those affectionate animals awaiting a home. Big blessings on you both!

  • I now have tears in my eyes and the sudden urge to hug my kitties. :")

  • Well, Paul and TJ, you've made a lot of people laugh but I think you made a lot of us cry good tears with this one.

  • Hurray for Sweet William and TJ. A lifetime of sharing ahead for them.

I loved the trilling of whichever cat that was. Blessings to you Paul and TJ and your cats.

  • Paul looks like George clooney

  • i would never, ever adopt from a breeder. the conditions some of the animals live in is just heartbreaking. both my pets were rescues, and i wouldn't have had it any other way.

  • Paul: you look like George Clooney when Sebastian's on your shoulders...

  • Cat Shelters are the reason I will never get married. I want them ALL. Oh God, I'm going to be the crazy cat lady. I just know it.

  • It is a good thing that you adopted a kitty with only one eye because i know other people who would not ever adopt a kitty at all or even with one eye! :( people almost always go for the cutest ones. So if u see cats who you think no one will adopt, you should adopt them.

  • It's so hard to choose just 1 kitty to go home with. If I had my way I would adopt every homeless cat/kitty/kitten that I ever met!!!!

  • I'm glad you brake for squirrels. Thumbs up for that alone. And I'm glad TJ got a rescue kitty too! YAY! You guys are nice guys.

  • Yay TJ, that was an awesome thing you did for William, have a great first Christmas with your new addition to the family. Did Sebastian and Jack get adopted?? Unfortunately my boyfriend is too allergic or I would so have a cat in my life too. But my brother has several cats so I live vicariously through him :)

  • Sebastian is so cute! Who was that purring?

  • Who would dislike this??

  • They're so darn cute and so loving...

  • Congratulations, William, on finding a great forever home. Shelter adoptions are the ONLY way to go. My cat Hansi (see video respone) was adopted from Cat Adoption Team, Portland, Oregon.

Adopters must appreciate that these animals are additions to their family; they are not 'throw-aways' if you move or if adversities arise. Some years after we got Hansi we found he had a genetic gum (immune) disorder. It's cost us $thousands in dental care, and ultimately extracting all of his teeth.

  • Well done and good all over you, TJ. I adopted a little lame kitty, whose front right leg was broken and twisted, and cannot be repaired surgically. Rudolph Valentino (my cat) is the light of my life. He hobbles and sways when he walks, but when he runs...watch out. :) In a world that prizes *perfection*, well, I have found perfection in Rudolph as you, TJ, have found perfection in Sweet William. Good and happiness be all over both of you. :)

  • @lyth46 Well done, sir! Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing your story. Rudolph Valentino is a lucky fellow! - Paul

  • You guys are simply wonderful for showing others how fantastic it is to adopt an adult cat from an animal shelter. I have done the same with 2 gorgeous and bright cats who turned out to be the very best cats I have ever encountered. It was a privilege to adopt them. Between the cats and myself, I think I am the luckier one, as they enrich my life in countless ways. Thanks for sharing this.

  • fell in luv with sebastian. why am i in europe dammit!

  • This was an incredible video, I completely agree with the message... I am such an animal enthusiast, cats in particular, thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you so much for showing the beauty of adopting an older rescue cat and for reinforcing not buying from breeders and pet store (unless they have local rescues). Before I got into rescue work I always adopted older cats, they were all wonderful. Sweet William looks like a doll !!!

  • O M G!!

It warms my heart to see people adopt adult cats...even those with their character quirks!! YAY TJ!!

  • Want them all too!

  • OH MY GOD TJ WAS TALKING. By the way, you both are super cute and funny. Single? And Sebastian? His eyes! What a beautiful boy! I love your videos!

  • You totally should have also adopted Sebastian. :) And MAN do cats just friggin LOVE you!

  • i have a one year old solid black shorthaired american kittey named rin (its japanese for lotus) and he is a rescue pet. so many people want pure breeds and kittens. all animals need good nuturing and loving homes. what you provide for a animal they will give back to you with love and affection. research has been done saying that people that own pets live longer lives. shame on anyone that disliked this. booooo.

  • William is such a handsome boy!! I'm so happy for him!!

  • Who disliked this? Come on, really?

  • That is a Sweet Volvo. Love the cats too :D

  • you are such an inspiration. :']

  • What an impossible choice, all the cats were so friendly and adorable. I want them all!

  • hooray for you and TJ for supporting local rescue and the harder to adopt kitties. you guys are terrific!

  • If only I could afford the $250 pet deposit at my apartment! I would have a kitty today!! For now I must live vicariously through these videos!

  • Awww, my One-Eye (whose real name is Squishy) wants to meet another pirate kitty.

  • OHHH SO MANY WONDERFUL KITTYZ I WANT THEM ALL, NO JOKE

  • if i was a pirate i think i would constantly be walking into things... william's got skills

  • Bless you, TJ, for blessing Mr. Sweet William. <3 You're the awesomest!

And I nearly shouted when I saw JACK! I fell in love immediately~! I adore mackerel tigers & I loved his expressive face & how he kept trying to speak to you! All my 5 cat-kids came straight off the street, except for Ra & Onyx, whom I forcibly took out of their neglectful & irresponsible home with the help of the police & animal control, right at their doorstep. Hey. This proud Cat Lady don't PLAY! GRRRRRRRR! ;)

  • Jack looks like my cat, Little Guy. I miss him so much. :(

  • I have never heard happier chirring purrs than I have heard from those cats!

  • One of the BEST videos on YouTube ! ! ! KUDOS, guys :))) <3 <3 <3

  • you guys are such exceptional humans i don t have the words to describe it, and that purr was the loudest i ve ever heard, quite melodic indeed- cheers from san diego

  • Adopting from shelters is the best thing to do for sure!

  • Sebastian! Oh goodness, if he'd done that to me I would've never been able to leave him there <3 ; u;

  • oh my goodness! so many beautiful kitties!!

  • Comment removed

  • I like your hot ride

  • I love this video. That was a very cool thing you guys did. I hope you have many years of joy with your new little buddy.

  • William is so cute :) has he met 'the gang' yet?

Nice to know TJ will give him a good home. :)

  • aww <3

  • It takes very special men to love kitties like you guys do! Thank you so much for your humor and sharing.

  • those cats were all sooo cute! i love this ^_^ i got my kitty from someone who would have brought him to the animal shelter if noone took him...

  • Thank you for this!

  • You guys are just the best!

  • I WANT Sebastian!!!

  • u guys are awesome. my kitty woke up from all the meowing in this video! haha :P

  • I would like to trade in my human for Sebastian.

  • guys, thank you for doing this, I bet you inspired tons of people to help kitties...love you for that

  • I got Sebastian.

  • aw, yay! :D

  • Welcome home to William, and congrats to TJ!

  • What an adorable kitty! All the best!:x

  • I WANT SEBASTIAN! D:

  • There was a kitty like William where I used to volunteer. She had one eye :) I think it's cute!

  • This was a wonderful video.

  • This is win x infinity. :)

  • i believe cats are angels... well most of time...

  • TJ speaks?!...

    On Sweet Wil, congrats.

  • This is wonderful. You guys are awesome. Yay for TJ and Sweet William, and I hope they have a long and happy life together :)

Also, can I just say that all that men-snuggling-kitties stuff is kinda like getting a punch in the overies? Men who love cats = instant sexiness *g*

  • This is so touching, I've always strived to get people to visit the local animal shelter here in Antwerp (Belgium), there's so many beautiful sweet kitties waiting for people to adopt them and give them a permanent home! One day, when I get my own place, I'm getting kitties! That's for sure!! Sweet William is ADORABLE!! You can see he loves TJ right away, he's already attached to him! Good luck to both TJ and William! and thanks to mr. Klusman to send this out into the world! You guys rock!

  • So sweet! My little Beasley was a stray who has turned out to be the most demanding lap cat! Good luck TJ & William. He seems like a *very* sweet kitty!

  • Oh, this brings back memories: going to the shelter, letting the cat pick you out (because they do), driving home, checking out the new home, and then it's all over because you fell in love. I'm still glad I got a bonded pair with one black kitty, because I hear they're really hard to place. Congrats to TJ and Sweet William!

  • Bravo! So hard to pick just one.

  • Congratulations to TJ on his new family member! William looks like he will be a great friend and companion, and I'm glad they found each other. Props to TJ for his large and generous heart on adopting a one-eyed kitty that I am sure many people passed over. I had a wonderful cat named Sophie who had to have her left eye removed, and it has made me whole-heartedly appreciate these very special little "feline pirates." This video is inspiring... and yet it broke my heart at the same time.

  • My fiancee and I just adopted a new kitty named Webster! Now my kitty Luey and him are living happily under one roof! We wanted to take all of the kitties in the shelter home, but unfortunately live in a small apartment! I love my cats!

  • Thank you guys for what you do for the kitties! As a cat /foster home/ volunteer for a no kill non profit cat rescue for the last 7 years I understand how hard it is for older cats to find homes. I personally love the older cats, no surprises, already have a stable personality, and they tend to jump on your face less!

  • This is great. You guys are great. I'm glad Sweet William has a nice place to call home.

  • Awww,,,,TJ you rock for giving Sweet William a home. Keep making the videos guys, they're great!

  • Awesome!!!! Kitty now has a daddy!!!

  • i have a one eyed kitty named pobble she's the youngest out of my two little bundles of horror! i rescued her from a farmer who was giving the litter away for free and i went to go look at them and when i saw her my heart broke. she was underweight full of worms riddled with fleas and she had a ruptured eyeball. i took her away with me nursed her lovingly back to health but she was worth all the £700 i spent on the operation and aftercare.

best descision i ever made (except getting the eldest!)

  • all of our cats are adopted from shelters (except for Sophie because we got her off of the streets.... :) I think that its the right thing to do when adopting animals. they need a fur-ever home! Love you guys!

  • TJ needs to have a kitty update with on how S. Will is getting along!

  • great job in picking William!! Guys who love cats melt my heart...:)

  • Gentlemen, you did good! S. William .... what an adorable sweet face that is! I could not agree more, adopt from shelters or rescues.

I have all rescues too. Bacchus is a stray I found and brought back from TX on a business trip. He'd been hurt badly and partially healed up by the time I got him (I think it was due to abuse from what the vet said). I had to have most of his tail removed once I brought him home. I might be biased, I think he's the sweetest cat in the whole world.

  • Awwww! So sweet you guys are, and what a lovey little doll William is! :) All three of my kitties are rescues... two from local agencies and one that I picked up off the street after she'd been wandering the neighborhood for weeks. Rescuing is the only way our family gets our kitties.

  • Has anyone adopted Jack yet?

  • @cumaeansibyl He might still be available. Contact Lifeline Animal Placement via the link in the video description if you are interested!

  • @klusmanp Unfortunately, I'm in the wrong part of the country, and the resident cat is very territorial.

I looked on Petfinder and I didn't see Jack, Angie Sue, or Sebastian. Hope that means some engineer fans came to get them!

  • I help this little lady here in Hawaii trap kitties, fix, and then release. We have 3 kitties at home so we have our fill. And then one day out of nowhere we trapped what appeared to be a dumped kitten behind the hardware store.....Oh well, here we go again...cat number 4. We love him though : )

  • oh wow...they purr so loudly! and I just realised... TJ SPOKE! xD

LOL at the 'custom cracked windshield' comment!

  • awwwwwwwwww!!!! Poor william!!! now he has a loving home :D so happy for you all!!! :D

  • Awww His nickname could be "Wee Willie Winkie"! :)

Seriously, there's nothing sexier than a man that loves kitties. Way to go Paul and TJ!

  • awwhhh.. i wanna adopt all of em.. <3

  • One eyed Willy. Gonnies reference?

  • Que lindo es Dulce Billy, le mando un prrr y un cariñito en su oreja, ojalá todos los animales en refugios pudieran ser adoptados y ojalá alguien adopte pronto a Jack!!!!

  • *teary eyed* What a sweet guy!

  • SQUIRREL ALERT~! lol

  • i LOVE YOU GUYS!

  • the purring! awwww

  • Did anyone ever adopt Jack?

  • Thanks Paul and thanks TJ!

  • I want some guys like you to come to my cat shelter in Brisbane, Australia. This was a very inspirational little piece. What a wonderful gentle way to get THE message out there. Love your work.

    Lucky William.

    Katina

  • Congrats to TJ on being owned by his own kitty! Sweet William looks very sweet indeed. I loved seeing him explore his new home. My kitty, Dickens--a former stray who is now Lord of All He Surveys--says meow to him!

  • So we've seen how we can adopt a cat.

How might I go about adopting one of you?

  • those cats at 1:47 sound like EWOKS

  • Ooh, he is so skinny. You guys need to feed him, lot's of yummy snacks. :D

  • Aw, so cute! I want a kittie too <3

  • That's it. Instead of having a child and spending at least 150.000 € on it up to its adulthood, I'm going to use this amount to build a cat shelter. Who needs more humans who abandon pets, anyway? I don't even want to know what happened to William's eye. Let's hope that it was an infection that made him lose his eye.

All the best to you two and Wilhelm! =)

  • omg! TJ can talk! :)

And I love it that you adopted a poor little kitty :)

  • I love how kitties have to inspect the place when they arrive in their new home. They introduce themselves to the new place and vice versa <3

  • Welcome William! Thank you for adopting a "special" cat, T J. He will bring you years of joy. :) <3 you guys!

  • One thing great about rescues: the cats seem to always be a TON more friendly and affectionate. If you want a can that wants and needs you, get it from a shelter or a rescue. I've always had the hardest time picking out cats from those places because they are always so fantastic.

Bonus is you are saving a life. ^_^ You also know what type of personality you are getting if you adopt older and they come with less mess than a kitten from a kennel.

  • You guys ROCK!!! I could hear a lot of purring. Sweet!

    "custom cracked windshield." LOL!!!

  • Reminds me of the day I adopted my boy, Mitch. Instant connection, and he gets along great with my other adoptee. And man, that one cat had a purr like a chainsaw! Love it!

  • Hurray! Another shelter kitty gets a forever home! Now TJ, you need to get Sweet William a friend cause where 1 is good, 2 are better! Right?!

  • Oh, I just want to take them all home!

  • wow, william looks sooo badass :) so at least this cloud has a silver lining, eh?

on a more serious note: does he have problems with depth perception?

  • You guys are angels. What could be better than angels with a sense of humor? I <3 you big-time!

And youtubers, remember it's your responsibility to spay or neuter your pets. Find a low-cost clinic if you need to. They're out there. No excuses.

  • That is so nice of T.J.!

  • YAY! So proud of you! :)

  • Awwwwwwwwwww. Good luck to TJ and Sweet William. They love each other so much.

  • Congrats to both Sweet William and TJ!

  • gotta love the custom cracked windshiled! (besides the cuties..)

  • Awww, Sebastian sitting on Paul's shoulder is the cutest thing ever! :D

  • All my cats have been adopted or just wandered down the driveway. They're the best kind.

  • Whenever I see cats like this, or i look at adoptable cats on websites I just turn into "crazy dating site cat girl". I understand her feelings. I also want to hug them all and take them home. and I almost cry as much as her.

  • That was a good video. You're required to provide updates now. ; )

  • OMG can we get an update on the kitty? <333

  • Thank you for promoting shelters and rescues over breeders. I would also like to add that many people say they go to breeders because they want a particular breed of cat, but you can often find them at local shelters and breed specific rescue groups. I have a beautiful Turkish Angora cat from a local shelter, and a Flame Point Siamese who showed up on my door crying one morning.

  • I love going to adoption/rescue centers. I love the kitty attention!
