  • sweet i have a vid playing in the same scale! check it out its called "Shredin' Guitar"

  • wow, can you imagine the tabs for this :o

  • How can he play so fast yet take so long to get to the whammy bar? It gets on my nerves that he keeps interrupting his own playing when he reaches for it.

  • another guy with something tied around the neck to dampen the strings. no one can fucking play anymore, it's pathetic.

  • @neoclassic09 andy james and guthrie govan use them.....theyre incredible players. A string dampener gets rid of the string noise when rolling fingers during sweeps and multi finger tapping, this guy can play. Whats pathetic is your lack of understanding of this, he can play...... dummy

  • @sackvilleshredder123 except most of the time they don't and you don't need one to mute the strings when tapping or sweeping unless you are shitty at it.

  • @neoclassic09 they do.....?

  • @neoclassic09 its kind of impossible to play 8 finger style without some form of muting system?

  • @neoclassic09 no.....

  • check out through the fire and flames guitar riffs by dragonforce

  • Jesus!! Is this guy Human?!!!!!!!!

Man, you are unreal, especially near the end!!! How did you learn to play like that?!!

  • I finally understand the quote "Its not WHAT you play, but rather its HOW you play it" the ideal should be melody, If its fast great if its not.............great to.

  • the tapping part was great and fast, but lacks of melody...¬¬

  • sounded a little too..... atonal at times. he plays well, just, not the best choice of notes in my opinion

  • wow...Lots of noise. Ill stick with yngwie and vai and especially satch, or Maybe even Jason Becker, or Paul GIlbert, or even Marty Friedman.

  • So what did this guy win, money?

  • This guy can play the hell out of a guitar.

  • its amaizing. but its not music, he strikes me as a guy who just dosent know how to write music. its excellant but when u look at vai and satriani you dont just awesome technique but amaizing skill in writing. when he writes a top ten hit i will be indeed impressed

  • kahuna390 --> This doesn't really display writing skill because it's a shred. If you look at some of his improv, you will see that he does indeed possess some amazing skill in writing music.

  • Great job! I try to shred but it always LOOKS like I'm going much slower, even when peeps say it's fast. Guess it's how you developed your fingers.

  • Shredding sucks.

  • then why watch?

  • im afraid xD you fucking rock

  • Check out some of his other stuff on here. This guy can kick shit in ANY style you would like to hear!! Awesome player!!

  • awesome dude! is that a jackson?

  • id say its an esp but im not sure

  • For these idiots who keep saying that this sucks.. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME POSTING A GARBAGE COMMENT. Kthxbai.

  • i agree. at least come up with a reason for not likeing him. and if your jealous then fuck off. unless you wright your own music cause thats skill

  • NICE JOB BRO! Dont listen to these other people. It was a shredding contest and you did what you were sposed to!

  • What on earth is the point , the guy is waisting his life.!!! He obviously has self discipline and tenacity. But to what end??

  • Actually it's a form in traditional music called cadenza where a musician, many times a violinist, shows his or her technical prowess. Music is a science, sport and art.

  • One of the greatest bits of commentary on music I have ever read.

  • @newthings158 YUSSSSSSS

  • meaningless shred!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • watch his other videos...

  • I agree with the dood down there.

    It doesn't sound just great.

  • My God this sounds like garbage, sounds like he's shredding some arabian scale, honestly how do you people think this sounds good??

  • im gettin so tired of seeing 3 string shreds on the same scales o.o

  • thats true. but actually i have learnt and studied the greatest pieces of: paul gilbert, john petrucci, steve vai, and yngwie malmsteen, and the only thing they really do is the 3 string pattern over and over again. they use that pattern in every lick (every alternate picking lick, that is) but it sounds much better because they blend it in with accuracy. thats IMO.

  • omg!

  • wow

  • It would be damn hard to try to outplay that solo afterwards!!!!

  • you are incredible...

  • adis awsome dude its been a while we should jam soon man im workin on fusion so that would be cool if you could teach me some thign on that

  • Damn that was amazing

the chordal structure reminds me of the Greek acoustical style

  • funny... i was just thinking that

  • The guy has damn near perfect technique. Bow down.

  • lol i wonder who won...

  • i think my face just melted

  • AHAHAHAHAH

  • ha

i love the way he uses chromatics so well

he has a very 'jazzy' approach that i really enjoy

  • The beauty of this is how he stays in tune. The chordal disonance he achivies is amazing!!!! Bravo

  • Amazing, almost incomprehensible.

  • OMG

  • DUDE!

  • he picks the string once and gets like 45 notes out of it...spectacular

  • Holy shit...

  • No way! That just happened! For the love of...Steve Vai!

  • how does he hammeron and pulloff that much, and that fast?! i can barely pull off 2 notes down to another and make it sound clean and without the sound going away lol

  • It takes years. Tone has quite a bit to do with it but he's an incredibly clean guitarist too. You rarely hear click a string or something along the likes.

  • Jesus! I thought some of that was on fast forward. At least time and a half!

    Impressive to say the least.

  • holy crap! Sounds like your hands are gonna burst into flames!

  • nice man that is really good

  • adis your such a freakin genious on guitar!!!

ive considered maybe entering that contest before...but after watching this im just going to give up real guitar and play that guitar hero video game like the cool people do. But serriously your playing both intimidates and inspires me and I thank you for that :)

    rock on man

    -Micah

  • What kind of guitar is that? Looks like an old 90's ESP M-II?

  • i think rusty cooley has met his adversary

  • Better than Steve Vai WTF

  • by god, if he didn't win...

  • cool. pretty psychedelic.

  • the next van halen!

  • Holy shit!! He has absulutely NO bones in his fingers!! That was just awsome!!

  • How is that possible???

I too will smash my guitars...I give up!!

  • Shit i thinK this dude have No Bones on his Fingers lol Dam Thats Fast..Gud Job Sir

  • Amazing hammer on and pull offs!

    Tasty solos!

  • That is FAST!

  • For a second there I thought he was going to break the sound barrier!!!! LOL AWESOME JOB!!

  • This guy is a GOD!

    Fucking KILLER RIFFS!

  • Wow

  • .......woah im just gonna go break my guitars right now haha

  • reincarnation of Shawn Lane or what!!!

  • Where are all these competitions at??? Want to participate!!!

  • Incredible!!

  • !!!!!!!!!!! Holy cow!!

You should be on the next G3 tour!

    Tim Waterson
