in cometion its hard to do that coz there moving all the time and they can do it asswell to ur leg even as ur doing it so u loose the best thing knock there balance and sping and stick ur leg out and they loooooooosee
This technique, along with most Judo techniques, can be performed with or without a gi. Many of them are obviously altered a little bit for no gi fighting, but if you understand the basic concepts and the technique is engrained in your muscle memory, it takes very little practice to adapt them for an opponent not wearing a gi.
nah not really. our Master said the other day that the people who take their shirts off... regardless of whether its out of ignorance, are the smart ones.. nothing to grab on to
then just use hip trows, if you use o goshi then you dont really need to grab on to something, this is just an example, but then you dont need to grab and (if you do it correct xD) he will fall damn hard on solid ground.
I don't know how good this guy is. But a few days ago I took the boys to Brandenburg Kentucky cause their club was invited to train with a guest instructor. It was a 6th degree black belt that was originally from Germany! Now that Dude was really good! He done a Great job of breaking it down for the Kids!
you need to sqaure up as youre sweeping. if you stay more perpendiculer how you are the opponent is gonna do tani otoshi or ura nage on your ass!you suck!

i've noticed that i've seen a lot of judo throws that are very similar to roman- greco wrestling throws. all you have to do is adapt them a bit.
