lost the card slots in the front. the old ps3 had them. this new one doesnt. its lighter but doesnt have that backward compatibility like the old ps3 machines. the old one had 4 usb ports this ones got two. prolly runs smoother and quieter. n the new ones got a bigger HDD. would be alot cooler if all these ups of the new and old system were put together. instead of being seperated.

fat is better i asked a guy woh works at a sony shop.he toled me it has a place where you can put a ps2 or psp memory card and you can play ps2 games.he also toled me the tuch buttons are really expencive and better than the ps3 slim normal buttons.

But IF you upgrade both PS3's to FW 3.15 you can use the DATA Transfer Utility to transfer ALL of your DATA from your OLD PS3 to the New SLIM PS3... This way you'll get to have everything BUT LINUX on your spanking new PS3 while your old one gets turned into a GRILL..

The PS3 Slim is pretty beast.

I love it. The pictures you see, especially the one on the front of the PS3 Slim box, like the guy in this video says, "doesn't do it justice". The pictures really don't, it looks beautiful IRL.

You should be pleased with it when you get one (if you haven't already).

Oh, and have no fears of overheating. That's not the case. The Slim stays relatively cool. As well as quiet.

i'm really not being funny or anything but i couldent ever trade my 60GB model for one of these, i mean dont get me wrong there not awful am gonna get one myself but there cheaper for a good reason... how they'v been made! they are the cheap plastic alternative, and my 60GB is irreplaceable for its ps2 backwards compatibility and card readers plus i just think it looks more expensive and nicer to look at, heard to many problems about the slim but thanks for the video dude!

its not. its the exact same as the old ones except the look and you cant install linux on it, i love my ps3 and dont even know what the hell linux is so it must not be that important. the original 60gb can play ps2 and ps1 games but thats been discontinued for a long time. so the only main diference is the new look, and slim doesnt over heat as much and uses less power.
