I just came from a small town personal concert with Skip Ewing, who wrote It Wasnt His Child, where he performed it this evening. You could hear a pin drop. It was very moving and perhaps you would be surprised to find out it was about Joseph and Mary.
Never thought I would say a song bought a tear to my eye but it wasn't his child has just done that. It was the first time I had ever heard it and all the way through it reminded me of my daughter who is being raised by another man after my wife left me for another man. I can now barely afford to live and will soon be homeless but this song gave me comfort in thinking another man can love anothers child and raise them well. Just hope my daughter will understand that I never stop loving her
I never thought anyone could sing the song "It wasn't His Child" as well a Mark Miller of the Sawyer Brown Band but Tim McGraw comes pretty close..great job.
i watched this so i could hear "please remember me" but man, i have never ever heard the song "it wasn't his child" and it was amazing, i got goosebumps, what a beautiful song
I have never heard this song before Tim sang it. "it wasn't his child" he is so good whatever he sings. wow, he is amzing! i wonder if he recorded this. I will have to look for it. this is just like "mary did you know"
It wasn't his child was writtin and recorded by Skip Ewing. He recorded it on two of his albums. it was also recorded by Sawyer Brown first the Trisha Yearwood. I think that it is worthwhile to listen to Skip Ewings Version. Someone was nice enough to put it on you tube. just serch for skip ewing.
Tim McGraw performs " Please Remember me " & " It Wasn't His Child " at the Nobel Peace Price Concert in Oslo, Norway on the 11th of December 2003. Featuring the Norwegian Radio Orchestra conducted by Martin Yates

this is unusual for a band to play along with an orchestra. but it was nice.
