I can almost 100% guarantee that this wasn't the way Elliott played it, but I'm playing:

Em C G D/F# Am on the verse, but play G instead of Am on the last time through before the refrain

G D Em C on the refrain ("frustrated fireworks...."/"open your parachute....")

And I'm using a capo on the 3rd fret. You'd have to put it on the 6th to get it in Elliott's key.
