What's not mentioned is that's the only street in the entire chevron that can't be used by arabs and can be used by Jews. I've travelled to the occupied territories and was shocked at what I saw: restrictions on movement, confiscation of property, children traumatised. No irony intended when I say it was like a ghetto. One soldier who was obviously born in Israel with his thick accent, said that when he was serving at the Lebanon border, he felt that he was defending his country, but now, stationed in Hebron, he confessed that "here, we are at war with civilians."
@peteskitoo i too have visited Hebron the feeling i got from the Jews there was fear and to an extent pride. They fear constantly of being attacked or harassed by their Palestinian neighbors. When the children go to school they don't dare to walk alone and they come right home, it goes without saying social activities are severely limited.

What's not mentioned is that's the only street in the entire chevron that can't be used by arabs and can be used by Jews. 1)in 2000 there was the Intafada that's y the street closed down people, during which ,as protest, many Palestinians just left work 2 march or attack
2)the Jews in Hebron have as much or more restriction in movement. all movement restrictions in the WB and Gaza are for security reasons
3)"harassment by Jewish settlers" that is out right slander, those Jews have almost no movement if they would even approach Arab houses, where this Woman claims 2 live, they'd be attacked by Terrorist Militants

Second smuggling is almost considered status quo so i doubt Arabs lack guns, in fact fire fights between Fatah and Hamas where reported by many groups including the PCHR, during 2005-2007 violence.

You would think that, after the Jews experience in Germany in the 1930's and 1940's, that they would NOT treat other people like the National Socialists treated THEM.
This makes what is happening in Palestine even more reprehensible than it normally would be.
Oh, by the way... YES I am Jewish. I do NOT agree with this crap that is happening in the Near East, though. I'm just honest enough to admit that "Israel" is WRONG in what is happening.

Why is it that the syrian lebanese, and jordanian as well as the egyptian occupations go completely unnoticed. In Syria and lebanon the palestianian people have no civil rights and live in tent cities. In lebanon there was actually a government sanctioned massecre of palestinan refugees 7 years ago...yet NO ONE cares! Israel my not be the nicest, but they are better than everyone else.

I've been to Hebron and talked to some of the Israeli soldiers there. One soldier who was obviously born in Israel with his thick accent, said that when he was serving at the Lebanon border, he felt that he was defending his country, but now, stationed in Hebron, he confessed that "here, we are at war with civilians."

@peteskitoo i too have visited Hebron the feeling i got from the Jews there was fear and to an extent pride. They fear constantly of being attacked or harassed by their Palestinian neighbors. When the children go to school they don't dare to walk alone and they come right home, it goes without saying social activities are severely limited.
And pride yes pride of their Judaism and the holy cites that are there.
As my sister put it "u look at what you have and wish u could see more of ur heritage"

I don't know. I have lot's of Christian friends from Palestine who are awfully mad at Israel for taking their homes and those of their relatives away. Also, I've heard stories about the way the Israelis treat them. I have a friend whose father was born in Bethlehem. He says the Israels took a home he had in Jerusalem away from him. There are other people living there and he received no compensation.

@TalmidChacham I'My friend is going to Jerusalem in October and meeting a lawyer. I assumed that the Jews controlled Jerusalem so they were the ones holding the property. We'll find out them. BTW I won't swear at you. I'm a Christian.

The suffering of Palestinians is what we need to produce more of so media can report on it and turn the entire world against Israel and the US. It is Muslim duty to suffer for the Allah. Some Muslims wage Jihad through violence and some Muslims wage Jihad through the story of their own suffering. The Muslims in America wage Jihad by disarming critics through their show of moderation.

@buddymartin71 not trying to offend, but what you just said about turning the world against Israel is repeatedly predicted in the Christian Bible. I believe it will happen, it has already happened. In your effort to turn everyone against them, you are helping to fulfill the prophecy for them. I am open to any criticism on this if I am wrong, but that is what it seems to me. Part of the problem is that people are too politically correct to defend their own beliefs anymore and our enemies love to use that against us. No one wants to be called a racist, bigot, or any names, so they try to empathize with the side of their enemies and argue on their behalf. Lets stand bold for our belief in God.
